Chapter One Hundred & Sixty-Four

Before his laptop finished booting, the police van already gained access to the mansion. Siren sounds could be heard from the main house as Raymond and Seven rushed in, looking nervous.

“Boss, it’s the police,” Raymond announced impatiently.

“Police? Who called them?” He questioned anxiously but got no response, his eyes wandered around until he noticed that someone was missing.

“Stella! It’s Stella.” He assumed correctly.

“We can’t run away, after all, we didn’t kill anyone so no need to hide.” Mada Pia began. “Let’s go out and face them.” She suggested.

Richester was a bit reluctant, he was afraid that the news might drain his reputation again. He was skeptical and cautious since the system was no longer with him but Amanda grabbed his arm and let out a reassuring smile.

“Don't worry, I’m with you.” Maybe from now on, he doesn’t need a system. He already had one.

They strolled out of the mansion to meet the police officers who were in the yard.
