Sandra was well aware that Clinton was joking. She never believed any of the words he had told her and was now seeking an explanation for how he acquired the receipt.

How could he claim to belong to a wealthy family that only revealed their wealth to him yesterday? It all seemed surreal.

"Clinton, you don't have to lie to me about this. It's fine if you don't want to tell me," Sandra said.

Akira also had doubts about Clinton's words. She wasn't naive enough to believe that someone could become rich in just 24 hours. To her, Clinton was simply using this as an excuse to hide something from them.

She looked at Clinton and asked, "So, tell me, where are the rest of the items you bought?"

She finished her question by pulling out the receipt that Clinton had placed on the table earlier.

"You bought five expensive bags, each costing $20,000. So, where are they now?"
