At The Peak Of Greatness

"Clinton, don't you get it! You are just a poor boy, what can you possibly offer me?"

It was a peaceful night at Wanton University. Lying on bed was Clinton in the boys dormitory, making a call with his girlfriend.

"What do mean Xavier? I love you. Even if I am poor, I can make you happy" Clinton said as he held on to the phone.

At the other end of the call, Xavier had an ugly expression on her face. "Make me happy? Tell me Clinton, Can you buy me the new Adidas bag that I wanted?"

Clinton hesitated before answering. "No. You know, they haven't paid me yet. Once I receive my salary, I will buy it for you."

When Xavier heard this, she couldn't believe her ears. How can a boy be this hopeless!

"Clinton, you cannot even buy me a simple Adidas bag that costs only 1000$. How can you take care of me in future?"

Clinton was at lost of words. It was true, he has never thought of how he was going to take care of Xavier when they marry in the future, but that didn't mean he hasn't tried his best.

"So you don't have any money with you?"

"The only money I have here with me, is my tuition fee,"

"Okay, why don't you send me your tuition fee then."

Clinton was speechless when he heard her.

"Xavier, I can't send you my tuition fee." Clinton shook his head as he said this. "If I lose it right now, I won't know how I will be getting one."

Xavier yelled. "What! You won't buy me the adidas bag? Tell me, how will I be able to hang out with my friends. Each of them is having expensive bags. All I wanted from you to just buy be a bag that cost only 1000$, is that to much to ask?"

"Xavier, please. I am now part of the school cleaners. The headmaster has agreed to pay me 500$ every month."

She hissed. "So you want me to wait for the next month before you will buy it?"

"Xavier" Clinton sighed. "I know you want to show off like the other girls but…"

Before he could finish his words the call has ended!

As he was about to called her again, his roommates stopped him.

"Clinton, don't call her again. Why don't you visit her at the females Dormitory instead"

" Yes man. You should go there instead."

Clinton switched on the dormitory lights and noticed that none of his friends were sleeping. "Guys, you heard us?" He asked feeling slightly embarrassed.

Jimmy chimed in. "Offcourse Clinton. We know you are dating the school hot chick. But why don't you go to her house, She sounded angry on the phone"

Clinton shoke his head. "No. Not her house. She lives across town. Even if I hailed a taxi I will be there at 12 pm."

But his friends were persistent. "Look bro. Women are like that. Once you argue with them, you need to persuade them with some kind of a gift"

The moment Clinton heard his friends mentioned this, his eyes spark with an idea." But guys, I don't know what she will like. Plus I only have a few bucks with me."

Jimmy look at Clinton." Buy her some cake. She will definitely like it."

After saying that, all the boys contributed an amount to help Clinton buy Xavier a cake but Clinton denied.

" I appreciate your help everyone but I don't want to trouble anyone here. I will get her a something else"

"Don't be silly." Scolded Jimmy. "Here "

He handed him a 100 bucks.

Clinton was hesitant at first but after his roommates advise him he had no other choice but to take the money. Besides he could top up the money and buy an expensive heart cake for her.

The thought of about this made him smiled deeply.

Clinton got dressed up and made it to the door.

"Guys wish me luck"

"There's no need for luck, things will get better between the two of you, don't worry yourself too much, after all she has been in a relationship with you for the past two years, even when no one wanted to date you, she was the only girl that treated you as a human. Xavier will definitely like your gift" Jimmy explained to him.

"Okay, Jimmy, then I think you should follow me. You can say these things to her, your words carry emotional message"

Jimmy laughed. "Alright, but remember, I will not be the first to talk to her, you are her love, not me. Use calm and heart felt words to soothe her heart when we get there" Clinton nodded and left the dormitory with Jimmy.

Few minutes later they got to the streets and hailed a taxi to a nearby mall. They went in and bought a cake that cost 130$. After they had rapped it in a package, the two boys then made their way to Xavier's apartment.

After traveling for two hours the two boys finally reached her apartment. It was one bedroom apartment located across town. The house looked plain, it was not small and not that large either which is perfectly built for University Students.

Clinton and Jimmy discussed it amongst themselves when they arrived. Clinton would go inside first and talk to her then after a while, Jimmy will join him inside.

With a deep breath Clinton pushed open the door to the living room.

Suddenly, he heard a faint voice of a woman moaning in pleasure coming from the bedroom. The realization that it might be Xavier made him frown.

With a sense of dread Clinton proceed to the bedroom. The sound of moans grew louder with each step he took near the bedroom door. Xavier has one hosted a party at her apartment and if not for that, Clinton would never had known about Xavier's apartment.

Clinton clenched his fist with a mixture of feelings, he pushed open the door.

"Puff"

The sight of Xavier lying on the bed naked, with her legs open wide as a man who is also naked, on top of her going to and fro of her, caused Clinton's body to shoke vigorously!
