Supremus pointed his metallic finger of his left arm at Maverick and immediately beam of energy shot out of it and was aimed at Maverick. The beam of energy was so strong and intense that it left a trail of destruction as it was heading for Maverick.

Maverick remained calm, standing and watching with no visible expression on his face. He wasn't even bothered that the energy beam was heading straight for him. But just about half a metre to his position, the beam collided with an invisible force that shielded Maverick from the beam.

The collision of the beam with the force resulted in an explosion that enveloped the entire place, owing to its destructive nature.
