Chapter 10: Challenging the big Six

“We’re not leaving here!”

Jin said, his voice firm and resolute.

The people around gasped at his audacity.

The last time someone talked back at the big six, he didn't live to tell the story of the consequences that befell him.

One of them chuckled and leaned forward on the table, a deadly grin playing across his lips. “Trying to show your Babe you have the gut huh? Good impression kid!”

“You're lucky we're in a good mood today so we'll pardon you but you have to step away from here. This is our corner.” He added and straightened up.

Fear had gripped Chloe!

She knows the big six very well and she's aware of how dangerous they are. No one steps in their way without getting crushed to shreds.

“Master..we should just leave.” She whispered with a trembling voice. Jin shook his head, refusing to step away.

He stood up, tugged on his suit and stood before the huge men with no single trace of fear in his eyes.

Their heights couldn't be compared– He looked like David before six Goliaths! His confidence was a thing of amusement for the six.

They Chuckled.

“Hello!! whose kid is this? Come for him before he starts crying.” One of them teased, calling out to no one as he teased Jin before bursting into laughter. The other five joined him too.

Jin smiled slightly.

“Let’s see who is going to cry Mr big for nothing!” He mocked. The smile on the man's face faltered, replaced with a tight frown.

He took a step closer to Jin, glaring into his eyes at close range.

“What did you just call me, kid?!” He growled, his voice dripping with menace.

“Big for nothing. What are you gonna do about it?!” Jin repeated fearlessly, taking a firm stand.

 Gunnar, the man gritted his teeth. His finger morphed into a tight fist and his intention to deliver a blow to Jin's face was obvious but the presence of a man who hurried into the expanse shouting on his way inside stopped him momentarily.

“Sir..sir.. please pardon him. He'll leave.” He said, breathing hastily.

That was Alexander Gray, the manager of the restaurant.

“He better leaves.” Gunner said in between gritted teeth and stepped aside.

The manager kindly took Jin to a corner. “Listen kid..”

“It’s Jin.” He corrected him.

“Whatever! but you need to leave here now!” He said, breathing sharply.

Jin's face contorted to a frown. “And why should I do that?!”

“ I came here to eat and I'm paying like every customer. So what's the fuss about?!”

The manager was slightly surprised at the confidence with which he spoke.

“Alr..ight, I'll give you any amount you want. Just leave.” He said.

Jin simply chuckled. “Any amount? How much are you capable of giving me?” He asked with a light smile on his face.

“Any amount! Name it.” He said genuinely, eager to make Jin leave the leave quickly.

“Two billion dollars and I'll leave.” He said smoothly, as if he just pronounced a meager Amount.

“Whatt!!!” The exclaimed and looked around and then diverted his shocking gaze back at him. “Two.. billion dollars!!” He was still in shock.

“Are you in or not? He simply Said, not ready to engage in deep conversation with him. “I can't afford that!” He blurted sincerely.

Meanwhile, the big six had grown very impatient. They yelled at the other customers to move out immediately which they did with fear.

Chloe, who was still seated on the chair, was forcefully pushed by one of the men.

 “Get the hell out!!” The man pushed her in a way she fell on her ankle and sprained it. “Ahh..” she cried out in pain.

“Chloe!!” Jin rushed to her on the floor. “Are you okay?” He asked in a worried tone. “My ankle, master.” She said with a shaky voice.

Jin stood up angrily and Marched to the men.

“You must apologize to her now! On your knee!” He said firmly.

The men looked at him as if he just Cracked the biggest joke of the century before they bursted into laughter.

“Apologize now!!” Jin repeated with a more serious tone.

“You’re the Comedian of the year kid. Apologize? Huh? Do you know who we are?!” Gunner stepped forward boastfully.

“If you don't apologize to her now, I'll make you lose everything you have worked for!!” Jin growled.
