Chapter 11: Apologize to her!

“Apologize to her now!! On your knees!!" Jin thundered, his voice striking through the silence in the space, laced with anger and authority.

Gunners chuckled at him mockingly and took a step towards him. “You're  delusional, kid. Who the heck do you think you are!?"

Jin laughed softly, his eyes turning red with rage. “I'll show you exactly who I am if you don't go on your knees and apologize to her now!!"

The other men were leaning against a table, observing the whole drama with a smug grin on their lips.

“I want to know what power a kid like you holds. I'll gladly fall on my knee and lick your boot." He teased him.

“Gladly?" Jin scoffed. “You won't know when your knee would kiss the floor old man. My wrath will make you do that." He challenged back confidently.

“What did you just call me?!!" Gunner stepped closer, his voice thick with anger.

“Old man. That's who you are!" Jin respected fearlessly.

Gunner's eyes darkened with rage. He clenched his fist. “Guards!!!" He called out angrily.

The door of the restaurant flung open and bodyguards in black suits rushed inside, all wielding a baton.

They surrounded Jin and Chloe. Chloe looked at them fearfully.

“Throw him out! If he refuses, beat him till he bleeds!!" Gunner declared authoritatively.

One of the guards Stepped forward to carry out the act. He stretched his hand to grip Jin on his suit but a ferocious gaze from him put him to a stop.

“You're doomed if  just the tip of your finger touches my suit." Jin sparked.

The guards halted and looked at Gunner with a hint of heart in his eyes.

“Are you crazy!?!! Throw him out now!!" He shrieked.

The guard turned back to Jin looking more serious. He tightened his grip on the baton, his intention to fulfill the instruction evidence so he raised the baton and swung it in the air.

Thawk!!

He hit Jin on his arm but he was shocked when he didn't even flinch a bit. The guard stepped back fearfully.

Jin nodded with a dangerous smile on his lips. “Good one. Now it's time to show you what I can do." He said and pulled out his phone.

Gunner laughed. “Are you trying to call your mum to come fight for you? Oh poor kid." He bursted into a mockery laughter with no end in sight. His allies joined him too.

Jin tapped his finger on the screen of his phone quickly and put a call across to Axel.

He walked to the window of the room where he quickly spoke with him.

“Did you just go there to cry? Or..." A mockery grin spread all over  Gunner's face. “...You went there to call your mum, crying for help? How pitiful!" He taunted, making the men burst into laughter.

Soon, their phones chimed at the same time. The ringing sound cut through the din, making the place fall into silence and they exchanged confusing glances, wondering why their phones were ringing at the same time.

Gunner was the first to retrieve his own from his pocket. He stared at the screen and his expression shifted when he saw the caller. He picked up instantly.

“Hello..what!!" He exclaimed and looked at Jin. The other men had picked up their class too and they had the same shocking expression on their faces. “What the heck are you talking about!! You're cancelling the $3 billion worth contract with Nexora!!!? Damn!! Hello..hello."

“What the heck have you done you little brat!!" Gunner rushed to Jin aggressively and gripped his suit.

Jin simply smiled.

“Hey man. The Adams groups just cancelled my $2 million worth contract too. Let the guy " Another man expressed.

“Even the Wayne group cancelled the $4 million dollar contract I just bagged with them. I don't want to believe it  was this guy who pulled the string and cut off all the contacts we worked so hard to secure." He said with a doubt laced in his voice.

Gunner gritted his teeth and removed his hand from his suit. “Next time you cross paths with us. Expect war!" He said and began to walk out.

Kin scoffed with a subtle smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Have you forgotten your words? You're going to fall on your knee and lick my boot if I show you what I can do. Now fulfill your promise."

Gunner halted at the door with his men. “You're trying to take the accolade for my ruin? Huh. It couldn't be you kid. Let's go to Nexora to sort this out." He casually told his men and they walked out.

Jin smiled and tugged on his suit. “We're leaving now." He told Chloe.

Chloe knew his intention was to follow the men to finish the drama so she said. “Master...you should just let them be...I mean. You can crumble all their wealth within a second but show them mercy master." She said, bowing politely, her voice tingling with concern.

Jin scoffed. “Such arrogant people don't deserve Mercy Chloe. They need to be shown their right place." He said and walked out. Chloe exhaled deeply and followed him out.

Stepping outside Lumiere, Jin's phone rang. He looked at the screen to see it was Axel calling.

“Hello master. We're opening another branch of Nexora today. You need to be their master." Axel informed.

Jin breathed out. “I told you I want to keep my identity low.."  He paused, processing his thoughts. “Alright. Send me the location. I'll be there." He said and ended the call.

The driver opened the door of the car for him and he stepped into the back seat while Chloe entered the front.

A notification popped up on his phone and on the screen displayed the location sent by Axel.

“24, Brandon street." He read from the screen and informed the driver who started the car immediately and drove off.

Chloe's phone rang, jolting her from her thoughts. Her hand trembled when she saw the caller to be her father. Her father hardly calls her which makes her assume that Alex must have done something.

Jin stared at her and observed her restlessness.

“Why aren't you picking the call? Pick it."
