Chapter 3 - Master JIN

“Master!??”

Marcus's eyes dilated, shock and surprise flashing within seeing the huge men on their knees.

“Jin!?” He stressed the name strangely, making it sound a bit odd to the hearing.

“Yes master. Shall we rise on our feet?” The man in white suit requested, keeping his posture steady on the floor.

Marcus gulped hard, his surprise flaring.

“Listen..” He broke the silence and tension in the room with a shaky voice. “I think you have the wrong person. I'm Andrew or..”

He swallowed hard and continued. “.. or you call me an empty vessel like my father used to call me but I'm not Jin! That's not me!” He voiced out, breathing heavily.

“Shall we, master?” He heard the man saying again without regarding his earlier outburst. Andrew brow arched in confusion. “Shall we what?”

“Shall we rise on our feet Master?” He clarified, his tone laced with respect.

Marcus' heart raced!

He earlier thought the man was joking when he first made the statement but the seriousness in his voice was unwavering.

Why did they suddenly bow to him as if he's a son of a royal!

They were the same men who were harsh on him a few minutes ago.

Marcus' mind swirled with different thoughts. “Alright..on your feet please.” He said as an afterthought.

The men rose to their feet as instructed by Andrew. It was unbelievable!

The man in white suit who was earlier harsh was now smiling at him broadly.

“We finally found you master Jin! Your father would have been very happy and keen to see you if he was alive.” He said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

Andrew laughed as if mocking his statement.

“Father?! My father is hale and hearty. In fact, he was the one who casted me out of his house tonight.” He said enigmatically.

 He stepped closer to the men, his little interaction with them had given him some confidence.

“Hold on...” He raised his hands in the air. “Are you treating me kindly because of my earlier statement that you won't be given a dime!? Huh. Even if you put a crown on my head, you still won't get a dime from them! They all hate me naturally!!”

The man took a step forward, the smile on his face faltered slightly. “I don't understand what you're talking about master..but first...My name is Axel and..”

“Axel? Who bears such a weird name. Like an axe you mean?” Andrew cut him off, his words hilarious but expression indifferent.

Axel smiled. “No master. It's Axel. You need to follow us. I know you have a lot of questions and I'll be willing to answer them but let's leave here first. It's unbefitting for you.” He said, looking around.

“Follow you? So you can chop my head off like a piece of wood? I'm not following you!” Marcus stated, his voice firm and conclusive.

Axel's expression further softened, his eyes expressing a pleading look which further surprised Andrew.

“You need to follow us please, Master Jin.” He did calmly like a man relentless on winning the heart of his crush.

Andrew saw the seriousness in his eye but what if this was a plan to kill him! He thought. As if the man heard his thoughts, he replied to him.

“We could have killed you if we wanted to but we're not murderers.”

To further make Andrew trust him, he instructed the men to release the other teenagers. “Do you believe me now, master?” He turned back to him.

Andrew gulped hard, thinking seriously in the silence that emerged. “Alright. I'll follow you.” He finally said, gulping hard.

Axel's face brightened like the sun. ”Thanks master! Get the helicopter ready now!!” His voice cut through loudly, more like he was jubilating.

 Like a big boss, they escorted Andrew out to the helicopter. The fan blade was already rotating speedily and immediately they settled inside, it took off.

Never in his life, not even in his wildest dream had he thought he'd enter a helicopter.

If someone had told him it'll happen that night, he'll boastfully doubt the person but here he is, sitting like a king behind the pilot!

The helicopter soared within the island so it didn't take long before it landed on another helipad in a magnificent compound.

Andrew lowered his head as he stepped out of the helicopter due to the decelerating blade which blew his hair and cloth randomly.

After walking away from the helicopter, Axel said, walking beside him.

“We’re home, Master.”

Andrew roamed his eyes around. The sight before him was astonishing. “Home?” He mused, averting his gaze to a distance to see a gracious building.

The building is towering, spreading endlessly into the sky. The sleek building stands over 1500 feet tall, its glossy reflective glasses shimmered, reflecting light from within making the building look like a prism against the clouds.

At its base, a lush garden and cascading waterfalls creates Serene entrance, blending nature and architecture seamlessly.

Andrew was dumbfounded, the sight before his eyes suddenly made him short of words. It oozed luxury and power!

As they pressed forward, he noticed guards at different positions in the compound.

They all handled deadly rifles scanning their eagle eyes around for any slight suspicious movement. They all bow as Andrew and Axel pass them.

Axel took out a card and slid it into the card slot on the smart door. Ding!

The door gave way, revealing a breathtaking Sight!
