Florida is a fantastic spot to unwind solo, chill out on the beach, and take in the sight of ladies in bikinis strolling along the shore. That's the life he should be living.

However, Matthew's actions are completely different. He has become a ' bum ' since leaving The Floss family home. He moves around aimlessly, engaging in activities he had never considered before, meeting strangers and pretending to know them. It was something he never thought he would do.

He let out a sigh, sinking into the warm beach sand. It felt like a blast, or at least it should have, but it wasn't quite as enjoyable since he was stuck in someone else's body.

Ding.

The system window pops up. Trivia is kind of messing with the chill vibe Matthew was enjoying. He's just lying there, gazing out at the system. Then, it suddenly shows a name that's totally unfamiliar to him.

"Who else is it?"

Seaside Bay sat quiet under the pale yellow glow of the streetlamps. Through the fogged-up glass window, the ocean looked like a sheet of black silk, glinting faintly. Every so often, a wave broke against the dock with a dull thud. The air was thick with salt, coffee, and the smoky scent of grilled meat fresh from the kitchen. The three men across from Matthew hadn’t said a word. The silence was heavy. Only the faint clink of a spoon from another table broke through, swallowed again by the whisper of the sea.Victor leaned back, arms crossed, eyes locked on Matthew like he was trying to peel back the layers of whatever the hell had just come out of the man’s mouth. “You talk like someone who’s lost everything,” he murmured, voice caught between pity and suspicion. “But I’ve never seen a man that wrecked still sit that straight.”Alfonso Kerr snorted, fingers drumming on the table, phone still clutched in his hand. “I’m not buying it. You could be selling dreams, Dominic Rayn. You said

"Are you sure you’re gonna cover the back pay that your ex-wife didn’t pay them, Rayn?" Jennifer asked, curious."I don't have any choice but to do it," he replied. "We live in a time where you can't pick your enemies. And I’m not about to go head-to-head with someone as damn talented as one of those three guys.""So you want to use that guy again?""I need resources. I need power—and more chess pieces to make my move and stand tall," he said, turning around and stepping inside the building. He took a good look around, figuring out which room he could claim for himself and scoping out a strategic spot where he could keep an eye on everything happening around him. At least that way, he could play his pieces right, without fearing a misstep. But just a few steps inside, Jennifer’s phone buzzed. When she glanced at the screen, Matthew knew she wouldn’t be able to say no to the call."Hey, I’m gonna take this call real quick. You cool to wander around on your own for a bit?" she asked, an

Jennifer spun toward Matthew, her grin so wide it looked like it might split her face. Her eyes sparkled, like she’d just scored a personal victory. Without hesitation, she threw her arms around him and peppered his face with kisses.“Oh my God, Rayn… you actually did it,” she whispered, breathless and electric. Her face lit up with a joy so raw, it was clear she hadn’t dared to believe this moment would ever come. “Jason Rogue doesn’t hand out chances like this unless he’s seriously interested. You just made your first real move toward building something way bigger than either of us imagined.”Matthew took a deep breath, trying to steady the storm of emotions swirling inside him, relief, disbelief, pressure. He still couldn’t quite wrap his head around what had just happened. Jason Rogue, a titan in the business world, the kind of man everyone wanted to partner with but rarely got past his ironclad gatekeepers. Most people never made it past the first layer of promises, empty ones, o

The elevator glided upward in perfect silence, with only a soft ding as the numbers on the panel flickered past each floor. Matthew stood still beside Jennifer, one hand buried in his pocket to hide the slight tremble. He was trying to keep it together, to look sharp, composed. Just like Dominic Rayn always did in his prime. Yeah, even if Matthew didn’t remember a damn thing about the guy while he was alive, he was doing his best to play the part.[Scanning target: Jason Rogue...]A transparent screen flickered into view, visible only to Matthew, flashing rapid-fire data: stock charts, investment history, news articles, philanthropy records, and quotes from Jason’s interviews across multiple media platforms.[Analyzing personality: Jason Rogue. • Type: Opportunistic realist. • Priorities: Efficiency, profitability, proven loyalty. • Weak spot: Personally drawn to sustainability-driven projects and eco-friendly tech innovation. • Risk factor: Zero tolerance for time-wasting, hates smal

The building towered above the sleek line of downtown offices, its massive glass façade catching the shimmer of early morning light. The architecture was sharp and modern, every line clean, every corner carved with precise intent. Inside, the main lobby stretched wide and grand, flanked by bold white marble columns. The pale gray marble floors gleamed so flawlessly they nearly mirrored the silhouettes of everyone who walked across them.A massive crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, scattering light in every direction, casting soft reflections across the glass walls. A delicate scent of white lilies drifted in from arrangements placed at each corner, giving the space a quiet, curated elegance.Matthew stepped inside, greeted by the crisp chill of perfectly calibrated A/C. His slightly worn suit stood in stark contrast to the luxury around him. The sharp tap of high heels echoed closer. Jennifer Shaw emerged, elegant in a simple deep navy dress, her hair pinned up, eyes sharp and

"Three challenges? Is this just another one of your schemes to make money?"[ It may seem that way, but this time, you’re playing by different rules. Because if you fail even one test, Dominic’s core integration will collapse, taking your consciousness down with it. ]Matthew swallowed hard. That meant Trivia wasn’t messing around this time. Their mission wasn’t just some game, it was about reclaiming Dominic Rayn’s legacy, restoring his honor, and making sure his name belonged to Matthew alone, not anyone else.It was a brutal endeavor. But when Matthew recalled the deal he’d struck with Trivia, excitement sparked in his chest. If even for a moment, he could step into the past, revisit the people he once knew, the ones he was forced to leave behind, it would all be worth it."Is the price of failure really that steep?"[ I cover the cost of everything you do. A little consequence isn’t enough to make you lose it all. ]Matthew narrowed his eyes. This cryptic entity wasn’t one to suga
