Chapter Ninety-six

Gerard and Ben spent all day in Ben's room and then later in the evening, they both had dinner alone without Rose. Ben was so elated that he was grinning all through that evening. Mrs. Mendoza noticed it and she was wondering what was making him feel so joyful. "Ben could not even eat. The happiness was enough satisfaction. Gerard was also not hungry.

He was happy that he now had an heir. Someone that would take over from him when he was ready to hand it all to Ben. At some point he thought that he was sterile. He thought he was the one that had a problem getting a woman pregnant. Now it was certain that he was not a sterile man. If not for the fact that he lost one of his children, he would also have had a daughter.

"Dad! I am trying hard not to call you dad because you said we should keep it a secret." Ben said. "I know how hard it is going to be for you but we have to hide it until I complete what I want to do. Once that is done I will introduce you as my son to the world." Gerard
