Chapter 13: Abandon by the Gods
Sean walked out of the room with a complex heart. He had to report their finding to Joran. His god, God of Harvest, had abandoned them. Sean didn’t doubt Adam’s words. Mainly because, while all these disappearances happen in the village, he prayed, day and night, but never received any response.

Most people in the village considered him as a madman for believing in gods. However, today, they were facing a challenge that mortals couldn’t face.

Until Joran told them that a similar thing happened about 200 years ago, he did not know there was such a disaster. If people were living from that era, there could only be around a few hundred in all the Crimson Empire.

What made him more depressed was that there was another God’s believer that could help them.

“Sean, what happened?” He was deep in thought he did not know there were many people inside his old Church until Joran’s voice woke him from his daze.
