Ch.10 - Welcoming the Patriarch

Shu Xiang spent the entire night creating a cultivation manual. He absorbed energy, refined it through various methods, and recorded every reaction his body had to that energy, gathering all the information he needed.

This would not be completed in just one night, but at the very least, Shu Xiang could finish several sections tonight before sunrise.

“There’s still a lot of time needed before it can be perfected, but this is already enough for me at my current low level.” Shu Xiang was quite satisfied with the results he had obtained.

“Young Master, are you awake?”

“What is it?” Shu Xiang asked, because servants were not supposed to disturb him unless there was something important to report.

“The Patriarch will return at around ten. You must go and welcome him at the residence gate.” After delivering the message, the servant hurried away, as if she was uncomfortable staying near Shu Xiang for too long.

“The Patriarch of the Shu Family, or my father now, huh.” Shu Xiang searched through his memories for anything about his father, and all he found were unpleasant memories.

Well, his father was no different from the rest of his family. He looked down on him as well.
