The next moment, Mia, Mathew and Mr. Bear had been let into Capt. Grovergane's house and they were sitting in the tiny living room/kitchen talking; with a door to the left that led to his bedroom and one to the right that led to the bathroom.

"Goodness." Capt. Grovergane sat in his chair looking closely at Mia. "It's not you but . . . It's you . . . What is the meaning of this," he said.

"My name is Mia Dalhamavaughn," she said.

"I didn't know he had a child."

"He didn't, well maybe he did but not me. I'm not his child."

"You carry his name and you look like him," Capt. Grovergane said.

"Yes, so I've been told but no. I'm not his child."

"So who are you?"

"I am a descendant of his," she answered. "From another time. A time long after this one. I was brought back by the time keeper because there is some unfinished business that needs to be finished."

"A descendant of Capt. Jules?"

"Yes."
