Morning came and the ship reached La Hannah and pulled up by the dock. It had just about the same feel as Pensure but it was three times bigger and so had more people. There were men carving a small boat, men out in the water throwing fishing nets into the water, men by a stand gutting, cleaning, salting and drying fish and men sitting under a large open tent weaving baskets; each one of them busy at their work.

Mia left the ship with Mathew, Mr. Bear and Capt. Grovergane and they approached the group of men that were carving the small boat; the group that was nearest to the dock.

"Good morning," she greeted and the men paused their work and looked at her and then at her company.

"Good morning," one of the men answered; wearing nothing but trousers that had been folded up at the bottom.

"Sorry to disturb you but we're looking for someone."

"O.k."

"Marilyn Gripp," Mia said and Mathew and Capt. Grovergane turned their heads to her as Mr. Bear just smiled to himself. They were there
