No Slack!

The nine girls were looking from one person to the other. Damien was seated by a table as though nothing happened earlier. As though he hadn't recently acted so childishly and elated. But it didn't seem like he cared what their opinions about him were. Nothing seem to matter to him.

Eight of the girls were seated on a long chair. Damien handed Jada a glass of water and nodded her to go join the rest of the girls on the long couch.

Jada knew too well to ask questions. The rest of the girls did have couple things to say about that, but Damien wasn't ready to entertain it.

What mattered to him was the fact that Jada understood what he was doing. It was the business of the group, and Jada was one of the girls. At least, until he says otherwise to the group.

He was still in the old mood, nurturing and enjoying the fresh memories of his baby kicking. He couldn't get it away from his head. The picture was clear and lively in his mind.

But he knew he had to tend to business at that momen
