Chapter 12
last update2022-08-31 23:27:36

Confused with madness.

After Sky landed on the bed, a young woman and a middle-aged man wearing a lab coat were observed making their way towards the room where Sky had been admitted. This took place only a few minutes after Sky had landed on the bed.

"Suzy, all of the nurses were specifically advised not to enter into the room housing the patient, but you did,"

a middle-aged man reprimanded the younger woman as they hastily moved away from the area in which they had been standing and moved towards Sky's  room

"Are you prepared to face the repercussions if something terrible happens to that Knight?"

"Are you prepared to face the repercussions?" The Doctor said once again

Doctor Lee " it wasn't my fault”

"I was only passing through and couldn't help but be curious about who the Knight was, you know we never  get to see any Knight admitted to the hospital"

"I swear I just poked my head into the room, I didn't even enter," she continued to explai  to the Doctor, as she saw he wasnt buying her story.

She had came rushing telling the doctors some nonsense story about a Knight running mad.

When she had told them about Sky's situation that she had witnessed, the doctor had chastised her and instructed her to keep her mouth shut.

They had all been so worried, when they heard that Sky  could probably be loosing his mind, and they had all blamed her, as if it was her responsibility that Sky was sick.

Doctor Lee, who had the greatest experience of all the doctors, made the choice to follow her in order to figure out what was wrong with Sky.

As soon as they entered the room, they saw Sky dozing off on the bed. This was the very first thing that they saw.

Although he was unconscious when he was sent back to the room, he was awake now, but sleeping from exhaustion.

However, he had been unconscious when he was teleported back to the room.

Suzy," didn't say that he was talking to himself, and he might have ran mad"

"When i checked on him,

he appeared to be muttering incoherent nonsense."

It just ben ten minutes ago which she passed by this room and peaked at sky, and during that time she had observed Sky talking to himself, after seeing that she had concluded that he was going mad because of what she saw.

It was obvious that time passed more slowly in the training site than it did in the real world because it seemed as though only ten minutes had passed in the real world while Sky had spent twenty minutes in the training site.if sSky was awake and noticed this time difference he would be perplexed.

The doctor drew nearer to Sky and began listening to his heartbeat; once he was finished, he reached the conclusion that Sky was in remarkably good health.

After giving his chin a light scratch, the physician turned his attention to Suzy.

"Doctor Lee, I wasn't Trying to Lie to You, Perhaps You Should Wake Him Up and Check." Suzy quickly said as she saw the doctors angry stare.

The Doctor didnt really believe her story, but since there was a knight involved he had to come and check, just as he wss about to berate her once again.

Sky snapped out of his slumber.

"Ahh…"

Sky awakened with a headache that was rather minor and went away nearly as quickly as it had appeared when he opened his eyes.

As soon as he opened his eyes, he spotted a strange man and a woman in his room; based on the manner in which they were clothed, he inferred that they were the doctor and the nurse who had been attending to him.

"Good evening, sir Knight," the doctor greeted in an appropriate manner, followed by "Good evening sir Knight" also from nurse Suzy, presently earth, the Knights were the most revered class of people, and everyone was obligated to show respect to them, no matter the situation, this is because they are the saviours of earth.

Sky greeted them both politely, he was a humble person and not too used to be greeted this way by other people.

"If our presence has in any way ruined your evening, please accept my sincere apologies." The doctor quickly added when he noticed Sky's awkwardness

" not even a little bit"

Suzy was perplexed by the next statement that the doctor made as he glanced at her. The doctor said, "This nurse claimed to have peeked into your room some minutes earlier, and had saw you behave suspiciously."

Suzy continued to describe what she had seen, but she did it hastily since she didn't want to insult a Knight, she was well aware that doing so would undoubtedly result in the termination of her employment.

Sky answered explaining what he was doing

"I'm sorry if I caused you any problem; at the time, I was just thinking about some things,"

Suzy couldn't help but think that had been a great deal of loud thinking he was doing, though she didnt say this out loud, it was just in her head.

After everything was settled up, the doctor and Suzy gave their apologies once again, sky accepted the apology withoutas any fuss, Sky did not behave in an arrogant manner like the other knights they had seen; as a result, they could not help but praise him on their minds

Sky inquired as to whether or not he would be able to return home at this time; the doctor stated that the Knight's Order as well as the hospital had already discharged Sky; the hospital on its own did not have the authority to discharge a patient who had been brought in by the Knight's Order.

Both the doctor and the nurse eventually departed the  room following a series of inane inquiries directed toward Sky. Despite everything being settled, Sky was still able to hear the doctor berating the nurse as they made their way down the corridor, from this you could see how much the hospital valued Knights.

Sky remarked when they had left, "I can't believe she thought I was insane, though, in retrospect, everything I did kimd of seemed seem crazy."

Sky started thinking about everything that had happened on the training site, he was almost drawn to what he was doing when the nurse saw him, and called him crazy, he quuckly came back to his sense, and laughed.

"What would the nurse think if she saw me just now" , "she would probably call me crazy again"

He had to analyse everything that had happened in the training site because mist ofbit sounded crazy.

"Was it all a dream, and i have just woken up?"

Sky was powerless to prevent herself from pondering the possibility that the entire system, in addition to everything else, was really just a nightmare.

He quickly removed his garment, exposing the rip in it that had been created by the spider's pincers, which could be seen fairly well.

He then continued on checking the engire cloth, his clothes was filthy with green crushed grasses and leaves, and even his hair had small pieces of leaves, his beard also was full of grass and leaf fragments, he definately could not have had all this,if he wasnt in a forest.

Sky's body became rigid as he thought about the terrifying pincers that belonged to the gigantic black monkey spider.  "Damn, all that was true; I can't believe I almost died."

Sky  yelled, "Damn it,  is this system attempting to kill me,"

He let out all of the anger that had been building up inside of him the minute he got chases by the monkey spiders by directing it on the machine.

"System!!!"

Sky exclaimed at the top of his lungs in an angry manner,

Sky immediately heard a cold mechanical voice he remenbered from the training site

【There are two messages in the inbox that have not been seen by the user.】

"Damn you, is that all you have to say, you almost kill me."

[The user's capabilities are insufficient, and as a result, are unable to retrieve any information from the system.]

Sky's frustration grew after he listened to what the sytem had to say about the situation.

"If you knew I was weak, then why the hell did you send me to that freakking place?"

The system did not respond to this request, which anoyed him the more.

After cursing for a minute and losing his temper for a little moment, he eventually got back in control of his feelings.

"Since I have this ludicrous system, why the heck am I losing my cool? It's probably the system's fault," he said to myself.

He navigated to the unread message that was displayed on the blue screen that was currently being displayed in front of him and clicked on it. There were two messages displayed on that screen; he clicked on the first one, and then the automated system voice was heard once more.

【 user has successfully completed his first mission, which was basic body training, and the reward for successfully completing the mission has been given】

Sky's excitement was through the sky because he had no idea that there would be a prize for successfully completing the mission. As a result, he had no idea what to expect. It was impossible for him to refrain from making assumptions about the outcome of the rewards.

He could not wait to find out what he would get and wondered, "am I going to acquire some riches, or am I going to get some new ability?" He was very ecstatic about the what the outvome would be.

The identical voice welcomed him once more after he hastily clicked on the second message in the thread.

【The user had been awarded three rewards for finishing his first mission: user has been awarded 5 devouring points DP for the first reward, for the second reward user's body has been strengthened and for the last reward, iser jas been go em a cjance to roll a dice】

【Status bar has also been unlocked】

Sky took a look at the rewards that he was handing out, starting with the first and working his way up to the third.

"Devouring points? What the hell are those," sky exclaimed.

The response to his enquiry came from a cold voice that was provided by the system as soon as he made the question.

【The lock on the user status bar has been removed; in order to access it, select either "Y" or "N" from the drop-down menu.】

Sky responded pressingbthe "Y" buttonon the blue screen that was displayed infront of him, and after that, he asked the syatem how he going to see the status bar, and it explained that all he had to do was call out the wors "status"

]

After first taking in all of this knowledge, Sky found himself speechless and unable to adequately express his thoughts. A game was the first thing that came to Sky's mind because all of this information resembled the status of a player in a video game.

Suprisinly, he was kind of happy because the system was kind of like a game, he was a master at playing games; in fact, in one game he use to play, he had even topped the entire rankings for the whole country.

Alot of people had wanted to find out who exactyly he was, but he never came out to the public to show himself, so must eople just too him as someone who had worked in making the game, or wss even from the game company, though the company had always denied any involvement with him, it didnt stop people from their speculations.

Many of the male students at his high school took pleasure in making fun of Sky's size and his academic performance.

Because of how unyielding he was, he fought them each time they picked on him, which led to his having very few friends who would want a friend that was always picked on, wouldn't that be inviting beating on ones self.

Therefore, whenever he got home, the only thing he ever did was play video games; in point of fact, if he hadn't achieved an ability and become a knight, it's possible that he would have continued playing games up till now, even if he had the opportunity to do something else instead.

But sadly he had awakened abilities and had to be a Knight, the Knight Order was strict once a person awakens an ability you have to be a Knight whether you liked it or not, no matter who you or your parents were.

Consequently, despite the fact that the entirety of this information was foreign to him, he had a good grasp on the majority of it.as an ace and pro gamer, if he didnt understand something as lowbas stats, would the entire time he had spent playing games just be a waste.

He looked at one of the abilities , which said "flash," and all of a sudden he recalled that while he was going uncontions after completing the first mission, the system was telling him that both his ability flash and his Dao heart had reached the first stage. He didnt really know what was the Dao heart, but he coukd tell that flash abity was probably related to his speed.

Though he had gotten two abilities, sky was kind of regretfull he didnt get more.

This wind was blowing in from the depths of the grotto.Suddenly, he became acutely aware of a chill that was moving down his back. At the same time, the sky realized that it was responsible for the peculiar breeze and recognized the link."Is this wind different from what you're used to?"It was not an earthquake; rather, the magical energy had caused a ripple in the water.
