KLIIIIK!

The notification sound struck Fang Zhe’s heart like lightning.

He froze. Then slowly lowered his head to look at the system panel.

Host Status: Fang Zhe

Occupation: Personal Bodyguard

System Points: 0

Charisma: Level 1 — Young Master Handsome Aura of Shange City

“What?”

His face stiffened instantly.

“WHAT?!”

He immediately jumped up from the bed.

“System! Did you steal my points?!”

DIIIIIING!

‘The host voluntarily upgraded Charisma.’

“Voluntarily my ass!” he snapped.

“I JUST TOUCHED IT!”

DIIIIIING!

‘Touch confirmation has been considered as consent.’

The veins on his temple throbbed.

“One hundred and fifty points… That was the result of my hard work this afternoon!”

‘Investment in appearance has long-term benefits.’

“Long-term benefits? I’m a bodyguard, not a contestant in some handsome face competition!”

The panel remained blue. Cold. Without guilt. Fang Zhe paced back and forth in the small room.

“Level 1 Charisma… Young master handsome aura… What is this even for?! To charm mosquitoes in the garden?!”

DIIIIIING!

‘Side effects: increases attractiveness, authority, and positive social responses.’

“Positive social responses?! I need points, not applause!”

He pulled at his own hair.

“This system is truly a top-tier scam…”

DIIIIIING!

‘The system appreciates expressive hosts.’

“Shut up! Don’t respond again!”

The room fell silent again. Fang Zhe finally chose to sit on the edge of the bed. His chest rose and fell.

All his points were gone.

No increase in reflexes. No increase in endurance. Observation technique not purchased. Medical still costs five hundred points. The only thing that improved… was his face.

He looked at the small mirror on the wall. Then paused.

A few seconds passed.

“Huh?”

His eyebrows slowly raised.

His jaw looked sharper. His gaze more intense. His skin clearer. Even the line of his shoulders appeared more proportional.

A faint aura somehow made him feel… different.

“Is this… me?”

He stepped closer.

“This doesn’t make sense…”

But the next second, his expression hardened again.

“No matter how handsome I am, my points are still zero!”

He threw himself back onto the bed.

“I have to work tomorrow… and I don’t even have any upgrades.”

He closed his eyes. A few seconds later, his voice sounded low.

“System…”

No response.

“If you try to scam me again, I’ll destroy all your missions.”

Only silence answered him. Fang Zhe let out a long breath. Today had been far too long.

Shange City. Erina. The Medicine Pavilion. A mysterious system. Lost points. Strange charisma. Even offending the young master under Lord Ryan.

His life had truly changed.

Within minutes, his breathing became steady. And for the first time since returning to this city…

He finally fell asleep.

Morning.

Sunlight pierced through the curtains. Fang Zhe slowly opened his eyes. For a few seconds, he stared at the ceiling. Then remembered everything.

“Not a dream.”

He got up and walked to the bathroom. After a quick shower, he put on the work clothes neatly prepared in the wardrobe.

A well-fitted black suit. A clean white shirt. A thin blazer tailored for elite bodyguards. Polished black leather shoes.

As he buttoned his suit…

He looked at the mirror again.

And froze.

That aura was now more obvious.

His posture was straight. His gaze deep. His jaw sharp. Even his expression unconsciously exuded calm authority.

No longer the poor young man sitting at a bus stop yesterday.

But a young man with the aura of a noble young master.

“This is the effect of Charisma…” he muttered.

He took a breath.

“Well… at least it’s not completely useless.”

Tok.

Tok.

A knock sounded on the door.

“Guard Fang, Miss requests your presence in the dining room.”

“Understood.”

Fang Zhe opened the door and walked down the hallway.

His steps were steady. His shoulders firm. His gaze straight ahead.

Several servants he passed unconsciously paused. They exchanged glances.

“Why… does Guard Fang’s aura feel different today?”

“He looks like… a young master from a great family.”

Fang Zhe didn’t notice their stares. He entered the dining room.

And there, Erina was already seated at the main chair.

She wore a soft cream-colored formal outfit, her long hair neatly flowing. In front of her was a simple yet elegant breakfast.

When the door opened, Erina lifted her head.

Her gaze froze instantly.

For a split second, her eyes truly stopped.

Fang Zhe stood upright at the doorway.

Morning light from the large window cast his silhouette. His jawline sharp. His gaze calm yet deep. The subtle authority that was barely there yesterday now felt real.

Not just handsome.

But refined.

Erina even forgot to lower her teacup. Her heartbeat unconsciously skipped.

“Fang Zhe?”

Her voice was slightly softer than usual.

Fang Zhe walked forward and stopped one step behind her chair.

“Good morning, Miss.”

His tone was steady. Low. Controlled.

Erina blinked once. Something was different. Not just his face.

But his charisma—his presence—was truly different from when they first met.

A quiet yet powerful confidence.

She straightened her back again, trying to regain her professional expression.

“You… look different today.”

Fang Zhe slightly raised his eyebrow.

“Different?”

Erina paused for two seconds before replying.

“That suit suits you better.”

Fang Zhe let out a long breath internally.

“Thank you, Miss.”

But before the atmosphere turned awkward—

DIIIIIING!

A notification sound suddenly echoed inside his head. Fang Zhe’s heart nearly jumped out. A blue transparent panel appeared at the corner of his vision.

NEW MISSION DETECTED!

Category: Medium Mission

Target: Increase CEO Erina’s affection until initial emotional interest appears

Time Limit: 30 days

Failure: Host loses 200 points in the next mission

Reward: +500 system points

Fang Zhe’s gaze froze again. His eyes remained straight ahead, but inside—

“WHAT?!”

He almost choked on his own breath.

“Increase… what?!”

His hands, which had been calm behind his back, nearly clenched.

“System, have you gone insane?!”

DIIIIIING!

‘Mission aligns with strategic relationship development.’

“Strategic relationship my ass!”

He forced his expression to remain unchanged in front of Erina.

Make the CEO like him?

He was a bodyguard. Not some cheap romance drama actor!

And moreover… the person in front of him was Erina. CEO of the Medicine Pavilion. Intelligent, cold, and clearly not someone easily charmed.

“Five hundred points…” he recalled, making his heart pound.

500 points meant he could buy Basic Medical Proficiency.

“But this is social suicide!” he screamed internally.

Erina was still looking at him.

“You seem… a little tense.”

Fang Zhe snapped out of his thoughts.

“I’m fine, Miss.”

A few seconds later...The figure emerging from behind the grand doors was not Han Mujun. Instead, it was a well-built man in a deep blue robe that billowed wildly in the fierce wind generated by his own surging Qi. He had a square jaw and a bloodthirsty gaze that radiated a chilling aura, completely distinct from the freezing temperature of Fang Zhe's ice.He was Han Wuyu, the biological older brother of Elder Han Su.Han Wuyu stepped down the marble stairs slowly, yet every single footstep left a small fracture in the floor. His eyes locked instantly onto the row of his family members frozen like street decorations, before shifting toward Fang Zhe, who stood calmly in their midst."So, you are the brat named Fang Zhe?" Han Wuyu’s voice was deep and raspy, carrying a heavy pressure that made Siska’s chest tighten inside the car. The black sedan driven by Siska glided along a private asphalt road surrounded by lush, dense trees. The domain of the Han Family was not just a mere residential complex; it was an exclusive district enclosed by five-meter-high concrete walls topped with electrified barbed wire.In the distance, the main building of the Han residence stood tall, resembling a medieval fortress blended with modern architecture. An aura of luxury and power radiated intensely from it, as if every single brick had been built upon piles of gold and the bones of their enemies. However, when their car was only a hundred meters away from the heavily guarded main gate, the road was no longer clear.CIIIIIIEEEEEETTT!Siska slammed on the brakes. The four-meter-high iron gates groaned and shuddered violently—not from a physical touch, but from a concussive wave of air pressure exploding from Fang Zhe’s body. The guards, who had been howling with laughter just moments ago, froze instantly. Their mockery was swallowed back down their throats as they felt the atmosphere around them suddenly turn as heavy as lead."What is... Ugh!" The scarred guard’s eyes bulged in shock.CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!Without Fang Zhe lifting a single finger, an overwhelming gravitational pressure slammed into the shoulders of the six guards simultaneously. The sickening crack of knees hitting the asphalt echoed through the air. They were all forced into a kowtow position, their faces pressed hard against the cold ground."W-what is this?! My body... I can’t move!" one of the guards roared with a choked voice. His lungs felt as if they were being crushed by the weight of a thousand tons."Help! Fang Zhe narrowed his eyes as he listened to the system’s new mission. 50,000 points. That amount was enough to purchase any technique he could dream of for Aunt Mei and Dr. Irma—perhaps even enough to buy a whole continent if the system was in a generous mood."Sky Luck Pavilion, huh? You don't need to remind me; I remember it well," Fang Zhe muttered coldly. He stood up, flicking his black robe which now radiated a faint crimson aura—an effect of the God’s Blood that had just fused with his meridians. Without wasting time, he pulled out his phone and dialed Siska’s number."Siska, pick me up at the inter-provincial road coordinates, right at the edge of the Ancient Mountain forest. Now.""Understood, Sir! I’m on my way!"An hour later, a luxury black sedan with dark tinted windows pulled over with a smooth screech of tires at the edge of the deserted asphalt road. Siska stepped out of the driver's seat, bowing respectfully as she saw Fang Zhe walking out from the dense forest."Mast

Han Mujun and the members of the great family suddenly froze in their tracks. The air in the cave, which had begun to cool, instantly turned oppressive once more. Fang Zhe’s Qi pressure, now far denser after absorbing the blood pond, locked every one of their joints in place."What do you mean, boy?" Han Mujun turned with great effort, his wrinkled face drenched in cold sweat. "You’ve already destroyed my hand, seized the Blood Pond, and shamed my name. What more do you want?!"Fang Zhe walked casually, stepping over puddles of ice and blood, before leaning against the now-cracked cave wall."It’s simple," Fang Zhe said, idly tapping his fingers. "You all entered this place with the intent to kill me, ruined the view while I was working, and forced me to pay a very expensive system 'admin' fee. Do you really think I’d let you leave with your wallets still full?"He then pointed to the floor in front of him."Lay all your valuables right there. Your ATM cards along with their PINs, fam
