After allowing the young thug to faint from the blood loss, Zhang Xuan left him in the alley way. "Perhaps, in another life. You will not be a side character like you were.." Zhang Xuan remarked to himself, feeling pity regarding the young man.

If only he did not allow himself to be a forgettable villain, a character only written to get his ass kicked. Perhaps he would have a higher calling in life, or maybe even survive beyond one or two chapters. Instead he was now forgotten, irrelevant, and would probably be deleted from the reader's mind after a few chapters alone.

Such was the fate, of one with a forgettable life.

Zhang Xuan grasped his hand, he would never allow himself to be a side character! His fist was tightly clenched, showing his resolve and determination. He held it like this for a few seconds, before releasing his hand after cramping it.

He couldn't be too determined. He needed to keep himself in check, otherwise he would probably pull something.
