Chapter twenty three.

**Reawakening:**

Almiron sat in his room, his thoughts swirling as he tried to make sense of everything that had happened. Ever since losing his necromantic abilities, he had felt lost, like a part of himself was missing. But now, thanks to Jessica, he had them back, and he couldn’t shake the sense of gratitude and wonder that filled him.

Jessica sat beside him, a small smile playing on her lips as she watched him. “Are you okay?” she asked softly, her eyes filled with concern.

Almiron nodded, turning to face her. “I’m more than okay. I... I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for me.”

Jessica’s smile widened, and she reached out to take his hand. “You don’t have to thank me. I did it because... because I care about you.”
