Chen Thai merely snorted in annoyance at the master and disciple, then turned his back. He chose to leave the spot before Wong An and Ba Bel.

Ba Bel actually hated Chen Thai intensely, but his current mentality and mindset were not those of a five-year-old child. Ba Bel’s current mental state and way of thinking were that of a 101-year-old Demon Emperor martial artist who had already faced death once in his life.

Let Earth and Sky bear witness to the oath this disciple takes today, and let Earth and Sky punish this disciple if he breaks this oath.” Ba Bel declared in a loud voice, his eyes radiating determination, as he knelt halfway before Wong An.

Ba Bel’s actions made him the center of attention for the disciples and elders in the Earth Pavilion. Many of them laughed at his behavior and judged Ba Bel to be a sycophant.

Meanwhile, Yue Ying and Wong An, who knew the exact situation and circumstances, felt immense pride and emotion at Ba Bel’s display. A new disciple, insulted by a Deputy Sect Leader of the very sect he had just joined, showed such composure.
