Orion stared at his right arm and counted again with a puzzled face. "Where did the new one come from?" He wondered then looked at the new addition that had a swirling white color. "I'll check that later, I need to leave here I've been out for long already." He muttered then stood up and walked towards the highway at the side of the road. ----------------------------------------- Orion walked into his room with a sullen face and jumped into the bed "That was soo fucking embarrassing" he said while feeling a urge to dig into the Earth. He had to beg the taxi driver to buy new clothes for him with the promise he'll pay him when he got to his destination with a silly excuse of getting robbed. The issue was the taxi driver was a girl!! "Ah my life's fucked up, I should go hit a wall and die or something." He thought while burying his face in his pillow. "Forget this Orion, for now I'm not going near forests, mountains or the seas. I'll just stay here and live my life out." He thought then closed his eyes and fell asleep. He was already feeling very tired after what happened. --------------------------------------- Aeric woke up feeling refreshed and walked out of the room Robert arranged for them as VIP of the city hall. "Now this is what life should look like!" He said while looking back at Vincent who just stared back at him and walked away. "Don't be so grumpy all the time Vincent, life is more than fighting and having grudges, you have to enjoy life while you're at it." He said while patting Vincent. "I just don't feel like talking that's all" Vincent said with a calm voice. "Jeez, so boring, we need to go search for the shapeshifter today. Freshen up then we'll leave." Aeric said then left the room. The previous day, he "politely" investigated Alex and later found out it wasn't him but someone else after a few evidences confirming he was somewhere else when the incident happened. And later found out about the shapeshifter on the loose, concluding the only person who could have done it was the shapeshifter. "Are you even sure it's the shapeshifter? The person who had the original power was way weaker copying another person's abilities and making it stronger than the copied version is insane!" Damion said with a thoughtful expression on his face. "We'll assume it's him for now and even if it isn't him he'll be a good addition to the squad." Aeric said with a nonchalant look on his face. "Let's just treat it as having fun aye" he added with a smile. "Alright whatever you say, I'll go freshen up." Damion said then returned to his room. --------------------------- A few hours later "I thought you had a lead on where the shapeshifter is "supposed" to be??" Damion asked after walking for almost two hours on the crowdy streets. "Oh--- I thought you had a lead on where the shapeshifter is supposed to be??" Aeric asked Damion. Damion's face twitched looking at the two of them who were now facing him. "You guys have to be joking, you mean we walked all the way here for hours without a lead? We would probably walk for months without finding him" Damion said. "Who said we don't have a lead?" Aeric said while pushing his glasses with the tip of his finger. "And where is the lead? Or what is it?" Damion asked. "Follow my instincts" Aeric replied. "And just keep walking?" Damion asked with an unbelievable look on his face. "Yes, my intuition is very sharp by the way, just trust me and walk for two more hours, if nothing happens then we'll go back to the city hall and look for a lead." Aeric said then continued walking. "I can't believe this, he's so unreliable." Damion said with anger clearly evident on his face. "Remember I'm the captain you can not question me" Aeric said with a light voice. Damion's lips twitches hearing this and turned to Vincent "Aren't you going to say anything??" "He listens to me, me, me and only me...." Aeric replied. "I'll report you for this" "Just walk, it won't hurt" --------------------------------------- 3:00pm Luminaries University Orion walked walked to the lecture hall after leaving the bus without a hurry even though he was already one hour late to the lecture. "I wouldn't even go for the lecture if it wasn't for Jerry, he's having a hard time, helping him out wouldn't be bad." He muttered while walking over. 'Later by night I'll check what's with the eighth cluster.' he thought then entered the lecture hall and sat down at the back trying to be as unnoticeable as possible. After a few minutes listening to the lecturer rambling on and on, he decided to use his ability to check if there were any mutants having the lecture. He found a few with barely light shades but most were normal humans. "Looks like it's really rare to find a mutant huh." He said feeling a bit disappointed. Judging by the percentage even if it was 0.01 percent chance he should've met more but he just couldn't find them. 'Either they're just that scarce or the government is rounding them up. Nah, I'll just push it to the government for now. All the mutants I found apart from Dave are from the government after all.' Orion thought then lost all interest in the lecture and dozed off. Meanwhile at the university zoo, a man was seen walking over and said to the workers around. "The higher-ups gave orders to kill all the animals in the zoo." "Why? There's no reason to suddenly dismiss them right?" A woman sitting nearby asked. "I don't know, I have no idea to be honest but we have to follow orders." He replied. "If the zoo is closed then we're would we be assigned to?" She asked. "The higher-ups call the shots I don't, that's left for them to decide." He replied then turned around and left. "Just know the military is coming over to kill all the animals tonight to avoid commotion."

In a village located at the foot of the mountains near Cyberis, Damion stood with arms crossed watching the army organize themselves, creating a temporary base and supply center for the fleet to march into the mountains by the next day.Because of the dense forests even tanks couldn't be used, they had to rely on foot troops armed with guns, rocket launchers and bombs to carry out the siege."If the terrain was a bit more favourable this battle wouldn't be a source of concern, but they have all the advantage in this situation."
