“I see it!” Joanne shouted excitedly, instantly drawing Jackson and Smith’s attention.
“What do you see?” Jackson asked, still busy fighting off the zombies attacking him, ignoring the system screen in front of him. “These zombies keep emerging from the ground. The more we fight them, the more they multiply,” she explained. “Then what are we supposed to do? We can’t just stand here and wait for them to attack us.” Jackson kicked a zombie that nearly bit him, then turned to fend off another from the opposite side. While Jackson and Joanne were busy fighting, Smith was trying to open the instructions on his screen. One persistent zombie kept interrupting him, causing him to fail repeatedly in tapping the interface. Smith retaliated, throwing punches and using every move he could to weaken the enemy. Suddenly, a zombie attacked him from the side and bit into his upper arm, making him wince in pain. “Shhh…” Smith tried to stay calm and fought back. His arm throbbed, and blood soaked through his shirt. He quickly tapped the screen, trying to find a way to defeat the zombies. Only two options appeared—he chose the second. A new screen popped up, revealing the quests they needed to complete for Level One. --- ` View Mission [✓] Zombies are surrounding and attacking you from all directions. To escape, you must find the hidden button that opens the gate to Level Two. This button is concealed in the darkness and can only be seen using a special item obtained from your reward. Your quests for this level: 1. Defeat at least 100 zombies (43/100) 2. Find the button that leads to Level Two 3. Obtain your first Kane Collection item *Note: Avoid being bitten by zombies. A bite = becoming one of them. The effects of a zombie bite last for less than one hour. If you don’t receive help within that time, you will die and turn into a zombie.* --- Smith froze as he read the note at the bottom of the quest screen. He glanced at his bleeding arm. Trying to stay calm, he tore a strip from his shirt and wrapped it tightly around the wound. “The most important thing now is not to let them know. I have to find the cure so I can survive… and save Kay,” he thought. Smith turned to Joanne, who was wearing the Owl Glasses. “You!” he called out, pointing at her. Luckily, Joanne turned to him. “Use the item you received to find the button that leads to the first Kane Collection.” “The button?” Joanne repeated. “That button will open the gate to Level Two,” Smith explained. Joanne nodded in understanding. “We have to work together. If we want to make it out of here alive, we need to cooperate,” Smith urged. “You’re only saying that so you can get us out and ditch us in the next level, aren’t you?” Jackson glanced at him briefly, then resumed fighting the relentless zombies. “Let’s put our rivalry aside for now and work together to escape,” Smith insisted. “That’s exactly what we need to do. We must stick together to get out of here. It’s all written in the game rules I read,” Joanne replied, scanning the area. “I found it!” she exclaimed. “Where?” Jackson asked. “It’s far from here—straight ahead, at twelve o’clock. But it’s located very high up. We’ll need to climb to reach it,” Joanne described what she saw. “That’s the second mission completed. Now we need to defeat 100 zombies. I’ve taken down about 43, and there are still more coming. I’m not sure if your systems show the same count.” “My screen shows 59 out of 100,” Jackson said, quickly checking his system. “That means each of us needs to defeat around 100 zombies to complete the mission,” Joanne said, kicking a zombie that lunged at her. “We need to move!” Smith shouted. “What do you mean?” Jackson asked, confused. He jumped and kicked a zombie square in the face, knocking several down at once. “We can’t keep fighting in one spot. We need to move to reach the button and find the Kane Collection.” “Then let’s go! Follow me!” Joanne led the way, fighting off zombies alongside her teammates. They arrived at their destination. “This cliff is really high. We’ll have to climb to reach the button,” Joanne explained. “I’ll go first. Then I’ll pull you up one by one,” Smith offered. Among them, Smith was the tallest and, judging by his appearance, clearly the oldest. Without hesitation, Smith began climbing, searching for footholds while the others continued fighting. Next was Jackson. He climbed quickly and reached the top with Smith’s help. Once both were up, it was Joanne’s turn. She climbed slowly, but as she did, the zombies began swarming toward her, piling up like a mountain trying to reach her. Joanne was terrified. Her hands trembled, and she lost focus. She feared one of the zombies might grab her and pull her down. “Don’t look down!” Smith shouted. Joanne nodded and kept climbing. She was just half a meter away from where her teammates stood when suddenly one of the rocks beneath her foot crumbled. She nearly fell, but managed to steady herself using her other foot and both hands. She kept climbing. Just as she was about to reach the top, she felt a zombie grab her leg and yank her downward. “KYAA!!” Joanne screamed, startled and panicked. ---Latest Chapter

We have to stay alert — that sudden attack could happen again,” he warned.Jackson and Joanne quickly got out of the water and walked to the shore.Jackson reached for his clothes and began putting them on, while Joanne and Smith stood still, watching the lake carefully, searching for any sign of the creature that had snatched the fish earlier.“I knew something was off about this place,” Smith muttered.“I didn’t notice anything strange. Maybe I was just too happy seeing how clear the water was,” Joanne replied lightly.Jackson was still busy dressing. Suddenly, without any warning, something swooped in from behind. Before he could react, Jackson was lifted off the ground — gripped tightly by enormous claws.“Guys!!!” Jackson shouted in panic.Joanne and Smith spun around instantly, but the creature was already moving, soaring past them in a blur of feathers and wind.“Jackson!” Joanne

“I’m going to miss you. I hope we can meet again next time,” said Ra to Laurence.“I’ll miss you guys too. Maybe after all of this is over, we can gather together again like we used to,” Laurence replied to his two friends.“Then be careful on the road, and come back soon,” Square smiled.“Alright, it’s time for us to leave,” said Jackson, shifting everyone’s attention.“We’ll be off now,” said Joanne. Smith simply smiled at Ra and Square. The four of them then left, walking away and leaving the mole and the squirrel behind.Laurence waved his hand at his two friends.Even though they only met for one night after years of being apart, Laurence was happy to be with them again. He didn’t sleep all night, spending hours talking about countless things with his friends.“One mission completed, and now another one awaits us. It’ll keep going like this until everything ends,” murmured Jackson as he followed the directions shown on their system’s map.“But still, everything will be worth it o
Level 60 – The Black Serpent’s Blood
The serpent’s massive body began to tremble violently, its scales hissing as they scraped against the wooden floor. Its black, gleaming skin cracked in several places, oozing dark, smoky blood. The creature screamed, a deep, ear-splitting shriek that echoed through the hollow chamber.“Arghhh! I’ll kill you all!”The serpent’s voice trembled with fury and agony, its red eyes flickering like dying embers.Jackson stood frozen, chest heaving. He lowered his weapon slightly, watching as the monster writhed in pain. Beside him, Joanne didn’t move either — her body tense, her breath uneven. They could only watch as the creature’s immense strength began to fade. The serpent’s form convulsed. For a moment, its body hardened, turning gray and rough like stone. Then, it shifted back again — stone to flesh, flesh to stone — in a grotesque rhythm. Its tail slammed once against the ground, leaving deep cracks on the wooden planks. Then… silence. The beast went still, its head collapsing onto the

“I’ll kill you!”Joanne charged forward, firing her laser pistol again and again at the monstrous serpent. You’ll make a fine addition to my collection!” the serpent snarled as it lunged toward her, moving with terrifying speed.Joanne rolled instinctively to the side, crashing hard onto the wooden floor. She scrambled back to her feet and fired several more shots at the creature. The serpent’s massive tail lashed out, striking her hand and sending the pistol flying across the room.“Damn it!” she cursed, sprinting toward her weapon. But the serpent was faster—it slithered straight toward her.Joanne leapt aside just in time, barely avoiding the strike, but lost her balance and hit the ground face-first.“Ugh…” She could see her pistol—just a few meters away. She began to crawl toward it desperately, but the serpent’s tail whipped around her ankle and yanked her
Level 58 – The Earth Mole’s Pact
“Old man, do something!” Jackson shouted at the guardian spirit, who had been silently watching from the sidelines.“No one’s coming to save you!” the mole creature snarled.“Argh…” Jackson groaned, struggling under its crushing weight.“Feel that!” The mole pressed down even harder.“Ahem…” The guardian spirit cleared his throat, casually patting the mole’s shoulder. The touch made the creature freeze and turn its attention toward him. “Would you mind stopping and letting him go?” the old man said calmly.“Y-you…” the mole stammered, eyes wide. It quickly climbed off Jackson and looked the old man up and down. “Laurence…” the mole murmured, astonished, before breaking into a delighted grin.“Haha, so you still remember me.” Laurence chuckled softly. The mole scurried toward him and wrapped him in a tight embrace.“It’s been a long time. How have you been?” the mole asked.“I’m doing well. How about you, Ra?” Laurence replied warmly.“As you can see, I’m fine too,” said the mole, whos
Level 57 – Trapped in the Serpent’s Coil
Jackson’s gaze swept across the lair, settling on the mass of snakes surrounding him. They all seemed terrified, shrinking into every crack and crevice while nervously flicking their forked tongues. Each subtle movement betrayed anxiety, yet they remained silent witnesses to the chaos unfolding around them.“So, this is their reaction? If they get splashed with this potion… could they actually die?” Jackson murmured to himself, curiosity mingling with grim satisfaction.“Good. That means now I can help Joanne and Smith.” Determination hardened in his chest, and he bolted down the dark corridor, moving cautiously to avoid the snakes’ sudden strikes. The dim light reflected off their glistening scales, casting eerie shadows on the walls.---“Let him go!!!” Joanne’s voice rang sharp and relentless. Her pistol barked repeatedly, each shot lighting up the black scales of the massive snake coiled around Smith. She was desperate; every breath came sharp and ragged, each trigger pull a plea
