“It can’t be,” I mumbled. A dark shadow surrounded her. I observed the shadow, then Elizabeth. That spirit just possessed this small child in order for him to remain in this world.

That darkness drew closer and closer to her. I took hold of the knife. A face quickly formed in that shadow. It grinned at me and then murmured, “Maxilin,” and then put a smoky hand on Elizabeth’s shoulders. “You are powerless.” I’ll bring her along. You made the mistake of killing him.
