Dexter Crane: secret trillionaire returns!

CHAPTER 3

“Stop here,”

Dexter said to the cab man that picked him from Lena's residence.

The cabbie shot him a glare as he pulled to a stop in front of a gigantic mansion with heavy gates.

“This is the residence of the number one family in the entire city. What is a poverty-stricken pauper like you doing here?” The cabbie asked Dexter as he came down from the car.

“This is my house,” Dexter replied casually and the cab man burst into a fit of laughter.

“Ha! You must be delusional. Not even the mayor can boast of such affluence and here you are with your worn out clothes spilling a lie! Get a fucking grip!” The cab man mocked Dexter .

Dexter scoffed and pulled out some money from his pocket. He handed it to the cab man who frowned immediately.

“You're ten dollars short,” he said to Dexter .

“That's all I have,” Dexter replied. He thought it'd be enough but apparently, cab fees had changed.

“Fucking beggar! I'm not running a charity here! Spilling nonsense about being some billionaire. What a loser!”

The cab man spat angrily and drove off in full speed, splashing some mud on Dexter .

Dexter just sighed. The man wasn't worth the trouble. He headed to the gates.

The security men standing by the gate cast a dark look on Dexter as he approached, crossing their large arms to intimidate him even further.

“We don't do charity today. Come back some other time,” one of them said to Dexter and he arched his brow

“Open the gates and let me in. I'm your boss,” Dexter replied.

Both men exchanged glances and laughed out loud breathless.

“What the fuck is he on?”

“I think it's hunger. Look at his eyes. Its sunken. Poverty has affected his brain,”

Both men laughed again. But Dexter just stood there, watching them.

“Look here, fucker. Our boss is Dexter Crane, the number one trillionaire in the entire country. And he's not some ridiculous clown like you. So get your sorry ass out of here before I kick you out!” One of the bodyguards warned Dexter and laughed.

Dexter scoffed. “I'll fire you if you don't open this gate at once!” He stated with a calm resolve.

The bodyguard fumed when he heard the words. Pushing the gates open, he dashed at Dexter .

“Might as well just teach you fucking lesson before I kick you out!” He yelled at attacked Dexter .

But in one swift move, Dexter kicked him off the ground.

“How the hell does he know martial arts? He's like some master!” The other muttered and aimed his gun at Dexter .

“Hey! Get the fuck off this property or I'll fucking shoot you!” He yelled at Dexter , but Dexter didn't bulge.

He swiftly dashed at the bodyguard, caught the gun and disarmed him before the bodyguard could react. With a kick, he sent the bodyguard flying.

“Stop this ruckus at once!” A voice cried out immediately.

Walking toward them in a beautiful red dress was Delilah Crow, the richest woman in the entire city. An umbrella covered her from the heat of the sun.

When the bodyguards saw her, they quickly stood up in shame and pointed at Dexter .

“This mad man claims to be the boss. We wanted to kick him out but he's been causing trouble.” They rattled on.

The next second, Delilah fell on her knees before Dexter !

“Young master! Welcome home!” She bowed before him. The bodyguards exchanged glances in shock, too stunned to speak.

Furious, Delilah stood up, and slapped the bodyguards.

“What the hell were you thinking! How dare you attack the young master?” She yelled at them.

The men trembled at her fury, too confused to do anything.

“We didn't know. We are sorry!” They cried out.

“Like hell you are. Get out of this mansion. You're fired!” Delilah yelled at them.

“What? No please. We are sorry, please!” They begged but Delilah was beyond showing mercy.

“Kick these animals out of this house!” She commanded her bodyguards and they dragged the men out while they screamed and begged.

Dexter followed Delilah inside the mansion.

“I'm so glad you're back home, young master. We have missed you here. Does this mean you are back to take over?” She asked him

Dexter frowned as he took his seat. Holding a glass, Delilah quickly poured him some wine.

“I gave my love to the wrong woman. Turns out, she's just a greedy one. But I'm back now,” he said to her.

“That bitch! I should have known she'd hurt you. I never should have allowed this to happen. Forgive me, young master,” she begged Dexter .

Dexter smiled. “Its okay. I fell in love. It was just with the wrong person.” Dexter replied.

“Okay! Now with your mother's heirloom ring, we can get you reinstated as the CEO of the biggest company in the world!” Delilah said with excitement.

That was when Dexter froze.

“Fuck!”

He left the ring at Lena's house!
