Chapter 5: Meeting Dao Wei

On a forest lush green with vegetation. A young man could be seen walking around searching for something. A serious expression was plastered on his face as he look over one bushes to another.

“Finally” He muttered in a low voice but a hint of excitement could be heard from his tone.

Beyond the bush he was in. A young looking pup was sleeping soundly. It has white fur and red brows. It was just laying there with no concern of its surrounding. The young man smiled as he started approaching the pup in front of him.

His step was bizarre and although he moves like a turtle his movement was still fast. With a wave of his hand a net immediately appeared in it from out of nowhere. Just as he was about to catch the pup with a red brow.

He suddenly noticed that the air a meter away from him was fluctuating. He stared at its direction and saw something that scared him greatly. The space in that place was rupturing, it broke into pieces before forming a portal that a person can fit in.

The pup soundly sleeping in front of him also noticed it. In just seconds as it detected a threat, the pup disappeared without a trace leaving the young man speechless. However, he doesn't have time for that pup. This thing in front of him was his first priority.

He scanned his surrounding and found a bush where he can hide. With his D rank talent and assassin class, he'll definitely not get himself caught. He immediately dashed over towards it while concentrating himself to blend with the surroundings.

“Whoever it was, they'll definitely not find me here” He muttered in confidence.

A few minutes later, a beautiful girl like a goddess walked out from the portal. The young man hiding in the bushes froze, his heart beating loudly while drooling. Afterwards, a handsome young man with a well built body followed walking out of the portal. Behind him was an old looking person with vigor of a middle aged man.

'F*ck what did I get myself in to' the young man in the bush thought. Praying that they'll leave this place without noticing him.

“Someone is watching us” YiYan muttered. Feng Shaotian and Jiang Fu both nodded their head. It was as if planned beforehand, the three of them looked on the same direction. It was the bush where the young man was hiding.

“Do you want me to take care of it?” YiYan asked while licking her pink lips.

“No let me do it” Feng Shaotian said shaking his head. He then strode forward towards the bush. The young man in it started to panic. Looking everywhere, thinking a way to escape while his face was sweating profusely.

Immediately, a book of different colors appeared floating in the air in front of the young man. This also catch the attention of YiYan. “Hoh. So the legendary book of multiclass was in honey's hand. Now that's fate” YiYan muttered softly.

Jiang Fu who was on the side looked at YiYan's figure next to him. He still doesn't have trust in this young girl, although she appears close to his master. He know too well that not everyone has the same good intention.

“Don't worry Jiang Fu. I don't have any ill motive towards your chosen master. On the other hand, are you worried that I'll tell Qiang Shin that you're still alive?. Hehe. You don't have to worry about that, I won't tell that dog that you betrayed the faction and didn't die” YiYan said without looking at Jiang Fu. “One more thing, Elder Zeng Guang missed you. Why don't you say Hi to him?”

“Zeng Guang huh? That old folk won't miss me. He must be dancing wild in joy after hearing that I, his rival died from the mission” Jiang Fu said in denial though in his eyes shines with longing. “Elder YiYan, I hope you are true to your words. Although I'm not a match to you, I still won't back down if you dare to hurt Master”

YiYan turned towards Jiang Fu making an eye contact. Seeing his determination, she smiled. “You've change Jiang Fu”

Jiang Fu didn't say anything in response. He just turned to the side staring at Feng Shaotian's figure confronting a bush. 'I didn't change, I just see things differently now'

In the distance. Feng Shaotian raised his hand in level with his chest and shouted. “Cube... Entrapment!”

“No please! Forgive my braveness. I didn't mean to eavesdrop or spy on you. I was just force by the situation, please forgive me this time” the young man hiding in the bush begged. He keeps on slamming his face on the ground afterwards slapping in again and again.

Feng Shaotian was caught off guard by his sudden entrance. He stepped back before unsheathing the black sword behind his back. The young man begging for mercy saw his actions. His eyes shunk as he shouted loudly “Please no!! Forgive my ignorance! I'm a foolish man. I shouldn't have ventured this forest. I should've stayed in the sect cultivating. Spare me! Spare me!”

Feng Shaotian was speechless by his nonstop begging. He stared at him in wonder. 'How come I haven't detected his presence although I'm now an S rank warrior?'

Feng Shaotian look behind him only to see Jiang Fu and YiYan staring at the young man in shock. 'There's something special about this kid!' he thought as if he was an adult.

'Just as I thought. That's why we didn't detected his presence' Feng Shaotian thought. He look at the young man still begging in front of him. His forehead was already red as blood started coming out from it after slamming in the ground.

“Stop what you are doing. I won't kill anyone” Feng Shaotian said indifferently.

The young man stopped banging his head as tears started pouring out of his eyes. “Thank goodness you're so magnanimous. Thank you so much, I won't forget this kindness you've bestowed upon me” he said bowing his head.

“By the way, why are you hiding in the bush?” Feng Shaotian asked curiously. It wasn't normal for someone to be in a bush. So he must be hiding and that's what he wanted to know.

“That..” the young man muttered awkwardly before continuing, “.. you see, I just want to own a pet. My family was poor and I can't buy a good one. Trinity Sect was about to held a competition, a fight between pets. I know it sounds horrible and I don't want my future pet to get involved.

”but a senior of mine said that the prize for the top 1 was 100 times greater than the other prizes. It was also a thing that I wish to have, I know I'm ambitious enough but I can't help it“ the young man muttered lowering his voice.

”So Dao Wei. What is this prize you are talking about?“ Feng Shaotian asked smiling brightly.

”It's a D Rank Assassin Talent Pill“ Dao Wei answered before his expression froze. Staring at Feng Shaotian with shaky eyes as he ask stuttering. ”H-how? H-how did you know my name?!“
