Chapter 6: Cube Entrapment Skill

Dao Wei rolled on the ground as his face got swollen from the slap he received. Feng Shaotian didn't anticipates something like that to happen. “What are you doing?!”

He asked in shock seeing what YiYan just did. “Why did you hit him? He didn't do anything bad!”

“I got jealous” YiYan replied with teary eyes.

Feng Shaotian blanked hearing YiYan's response. Jealous? She's Jealous? Jealous because I winked at a man? What nonsense is this! He wanted to shout at her again but stopped. She was so adorable with her teary eyes.

“D*mn!” He cursed before running over to Dao Wei. “Are you alright?” he asked in care.

Slap!

Before Dao Wei could reply another slap hits his face hard. He again rolls on the ground while holding his swollen face. First it was his right cheek now it was his left. He looks no different from a pig! It hurts.

“What—” before Feng Shaotian could say anything. YiYan already hugged him tight. “Please don't be affectionate to him. I'm getting jealous”

Feng Shaotian didn't know what to say. He questioned himself for many weeks already. YiYan was beautiful but why can't he fall for her? Is there any reason behind it? He don't know the answer.

He looked at YiYan hugging him tightly as if afraid of losing him. “Alright” he could only give up. He turned towards Jiang Fu who was looking at them with weird expression written in his face. But Feng Shaotian don't have the time to explain and asked him to help Dao Wei.

Jiang Fu didn't waste any time and walk towards Dao Wei's direction. “Are you alright?” Jiang Fu asked feeling sorry for Dao Wei.

Hearing Jiang Fu's question. Dao Wei immediately ducked down covering his face with his hand. “Please don't slap me anymore. It hurts! Please I beg you”

“It's alright. No one will slap you anymore” Jiang Fu said awkwardly.

“Really?” Dao Wei asked like a child.

“Of course you can trust me”

“I don't trust you”

“Just trust me” Jiang Fu said smiling majestically.

“B-but..”

“No buts”

“Can I really trust you?”

Black lines started appearing on Jiang Fu's face. With a dangerous smile on his face he said. “If you don't listen to what I say right now I'll kill you”

Dao Wei felt the killing intent in Jiang Fu's voice making his whole body freeze. He was only a D Rank Assassin, what can he do to guard this chillingly cold killing intent?

“Jiang Fu”

“I'm just kidding” Jiang Fu replied hearing Feng Shaotian calling his name. He then retracted his killing intent and called seriously. “Kid, if you don't want to die. Listen to me, got it?”

Dao Wei nodded his head nonstop. He was covered in cold sweat. This must be his unluckiest day since being born. “Now that's what I want” Jiang Fu muttered smilingly.

“Junior Dao, how far is this place from Trinity Sect?” Feng Shaotian asked with YiYan still hugging him asleep.

“It's not far. Just a walking distance, if you don't mind I can guide you there” Dao Wei said like an obedient child.

“What about your objective in coming here?”

“Nevermind, the pet I want already escaped minutes ago. I'm sure it won't show itself for now”

“That's sad. What pet do you like? I can give you one” Feng Shaotian offered.

“Nah. I only want that pup. It was cute and fast, although it was white in contrast with me that must be in a dark place. Sighs” Dao Wei said downhearted. He was just about to catch that pup if it wasn't for Feng Shaotian and his group.

“Pup? A Pup with a red brow? Is that what you're looking for?” Feng Shaotian asked curiously.

“Yeah”

“Is this it?” Feng Shaotian asked. In his hand was a pink cube, inside it was a white pup with red brows. He caught it minutes ago using Cube Entrapment Spell.

Dao Wei can't believe what he was seeing. Finally, the pet he was longing for was finally in front of him.

“It's only an E Rank Magical Beast” Jiang Fu muttered.

“I know but I love this pet. Can I have it?” Dao Wei asked staring intently at the beast.

“Of course you can have it” Feng Shaotian happily said. “Here, it's a blood contract. Let me help you contract it”

Dao Wei bit his finger and stamped it on the contract. Feng Shaotian also cut a little wound on the pup's paw before dripping its blood on the contract.

Swish~

The blood contract started dissolving as the air started swishing. After several minutes passed, the blood contract becomes a thread connecting the two of them. Dao Wei was happy that he has finally gotten a pet. He thanked Feng Shaotian nonstop for his gift.

“Do you want to become strong?” Feng Shaotian asked.

“Of course I want to. I want to protect my parents from people with ill intention. You know bad guys. That's why I decided to join Trinity Sect to grow stronger” Dao Wei explained enthusiastically.

“Really? Do you want to be one of my people instead? I can guarantee your family's safety, they're life will also be better than before. What do you think?”

“This...” Dao Wei hesitated. He just met them today, he didn't even know where they came from.

“Relax, we don't want any harm. You can decline if you like, I won't force you” Feng Shaotian stated seeing Dao Wei's hesitation.

An air piercing cry sounded out scaring the magical beast nearby but weirdly Feng Shaotian's group wasn't affected. Up in the sky, a big flying beast was visible covering the lights coming from the sun. It has 12 Wings and Golden in color.

“T-that is...” Dao Wei mumbled as his feet started trembling.
