By this time, it was already around nine in the morning. He began by mastering the Weeding II skill, which took him 7 minutes to master. It contained just better and improved skills in weeding. Circus was glad, knowing it would help him weed better than the previous time. Five skill points were used to master it.

He proceeded to enter his dwelling, specifically the bunker, and emerged with a hoe, an axe, and a knife. With these tools in hand, he began his weeding task. As he diligently cleared away the tall grass and shrubs, birds and other small creatures scurried away to safety. He even managed to capture a few birds.

"Today, I shall feast on meat!"

A smile covered his face as he securely placed the captured birds in a designated area where they could not escape, in a tin that also contained bird eggs. He carefully covered the tin and resumed his work.

Furthermore, he successfully eliminated two snakes that attempted to strike him. It seemed as though the heavens were always watching over humanity, even in their most destitute state. Taking a break for an hour, he requested the system to measure the area he had previously weeded and where crops were currently growing, meaning the entire area without weeds was to be measured.

"Oh dear, yesterday I managed to weed an area of 22 square meters, but I was incredibly exhausted. However, today I successfully weeded an additional 60 square meters, and I still have the energy to spare. However, the nurseries differed in size, measuring 2 meters by 1 meter, unlike the first two nursery beds, which were 1 meter by 0.5 meters. As he worked, he carefully measured and marked the dimensions for each bed and nursery, ensuring precision in his preparations. He knew that proper spacing and size would be crucial for the successful growth of his crops.

He fetched two barrels of water, utilizing all of it to moisten the beds. He knew that providing adequate water was essential for the healthy development of his plants.

Within the store, he discovered onions and spinach. Both were available for purchase at a rate of 1 Great coin per 10 seeds. Ten was the possible minimum amount of seeds the system could sell. He decided to buy 100 onion seeds for 10 Great coins and 100 spinach seeds for 10 Great coins.

He proceeded to sow 100 onion seeds in one nursery and 100 seeds in another nursery. Three nurseries remained: one new 2m by 1m nursery and two 1m by 0.5m nurseries, where he had initially planted lettuce and tomatoes. He retrieved 50 lettuce seeds from the system and sowed them in one of the 1m by 0.5m nurseries, while the other nursery was occupied by 50 tomato seeds. One 2m by 1m nursery was left unused.

It was now time to water the sown seeds with a pink liquid. He fetched another barrel of water and poured some of it into an empty barrel, making it a total of 100. He then mixed the pink liquid with the water in the barrel, ensuring that it was well-distributed.

After applying the pink liquid to the two recently prepared nursery beds, a small quantity of pink liquid remained in the watering can. This residual liquid was promptly returned to the barrel where the other pink liquid was stored, which was stored in the bunker for future use.

He learned from the system that pink liquid never expired and could be stored for an indefinite period of time without losing its effectiveness. This knowledge reassured him that he could continue using the pink liquid in his farming practices without any concerns about its potency or quality deteriorating over time.

When he saw time in the system, he was astounded. It was already three in the afternoon. He didn’t eat anything but didn’t feel hungry the entire time. That was until the realization.

"Ive been working since morning and have eaten nothing. Isn’t this self-abuse?"

He had been working diligently since morning without taking a break or having a meal. He couldn't help but wonder if this was a form of self-abuse, neglecting his own basic needs.

In order to satisfy his hunger, Circus gathered some sticks and weeds to start a fire. He resorted to the traditional method of creating fire by striking stones together, and soon enough, a fire was ablaze. This method was commonly used by those who were ordinary. Unlike them, the awakened individuals had the power to conjure fire out of thin air and create ice to freeze their food out of nothing. This power was a testament to their heightened spiritual connection and control over the elements.
