Mother in law

Vasu was pleased with himself after seeing how he had handled the situation. He then called for the carriage, and once it arrived, Vasu turned to look at Julie.

"Can I come with you to meet my mother-in-law?" he asked with a bright smile on his face.

Julie lowered her head shyly and gently nodded in agreement.

"In which hospital is your mother-in-law currently receiving treatment?" asked Vasu, after Julie agreed to his request to tag along.

"Heavenly Clinic Hospital," said Julie with a deep blush on her cheeks.

"Haha...Driver, take us to Heavenly Clinic Hospital," said Vasu, while boarding the carriage followed by Julie.

"Okay, sir," the driver nodded his head and moved the carriage towards the Heavenly Clinic Hospital at full speed. In a few minutes, the carriage reached the hospital, and both of them alighted. Vasu instructed the driver to wait for him.

Soon, both of them reached the ward where Julie's mother was being treated. Everyone in the hospital was dumbfounded upon seeing the dungeon manager walking into the ward with a young girl beside him. It took a few minutes for them to come back to their senses, and nurses immediately rushed out to report the arrival of the dungeon manager to the doctors. Vasu didn't care about what was happening around him and kept walking towards the middle-aged woman who had facial features just like Julie and was soundlessly sleeping on the bed.

Julie hurriedly walked and sat near the bed. "Mother, how are you feeling?" asked Julie with a look of concern on her face.

The middle-aged woman who was sleeping soundlessly slowly opened her eyes upon hearing Julie's words. Her lips curved up into a smile. "Julie, you're back! How did your exploration of the dungeon go today? Nothing happened to you, right?" asked the middle-aged woman, while looking at Julie from top to bottom. She finally released a long sigh of relief upon seeing that her daughter was well.

"Mother, see I'm alright. While I was exploring the dungeon, I came across a strong dungeon monster. Brother Vasu saved me from that dungeon monster. Now answer me," asked Julie anxiously, looking at her mother.

"I'm alright," said the middle-aged woman, looking at her daughter. Then she turned her head to look at Vasu. The moment she saw his face, the middle-aged woman was completely dazed on the spot.

"Oh God, what did I see?" she exclaimed, with a look of stupor all over her face. "Are you the dungeon manager?" she asked Vasu, still in disbelief.

"Yes, it's me, mother-in-law," said Vasu with a gentle smile on his face, hearing his words made Julie's cheeks blush.

"What? What did you call me just now?" asked the middle-aged woman with shock written all over her face. She was already a patient who was being treated for her illness in the hospital, but she never thought she would be constantly surprised and shocked again and again at that moment.

"Yes, you heard me right," said Vasu with familial affection in his eyes.

A middle-aged woman turned to look at her daughter to confirm what she had just heard. Seeing her mother's questioning gaze, Julie nodded in reply.

"Oh God, what is happening here?" thought the middle-aged woman.

"Sir, but we don't even have money for my treatment, and our status in society is like heaven and earth. How can we create a family bond between us?" asked the middle-aged woman with a bitter smile on her face.

"If she is not eligible to be my wife, then there is no girl who is more eligible than your daughter on this planet," said Vasu with full affection in his eyes while looking at Julie.

"Sir, are you serious?" asked the middle-aged woman with disbelief written all over her face.

"Yes," Vasu nodded his head with a resolute look on his face.

"Julie, are you sure you want to be his fiancee?" asked the middle-aged woman with a stern look on her face. Hearing her mother's words, Julie nodded her head in confirmation of her mother's question.

However much she wanted to feel that Vasu was a good guy, it was their first meeting, and he was very rich with a high status in society. So she couldn't trust his words to be honest and genuine. She wanted to confirm her daughter's words. Upon seeing her daughter's confirmation, it made her release a long sigh of relief.

All of the doctors in the hospital, one after another, reached the ward where Julie's mother was taking treatment with anxious looks on their faces.

"Sir Dungeon Manager, we pay our respects."

"Sir Dungeon Manager."

"Sir Dungeon Manager."

After one doctor paid his respects, soon everyone in the ward followed him and paid their respects to Vasu with awe and veneration in their eyes and on their faces.

"Hmm," Vasu just nodded his head to respond to their respects and continued to say, "What's your name, doctor?"

Hearing Vasu's question made the doctor's face light up brightly. "Sir Dungeon Manager, thanks for asking my name. My name is Sudeep," said the doctor with a respectful look on his face.

Vasu was greatly respected all over that planet due to his identity as a Dungeon Manager, which was the result of his family's thousands of years of inheritance and reputation.

"Hmm," Vasu nodded his head with a calm look on his face and continued to say, "Nice to meet you, Sudeep."

"Nice to meet you, Sir Dungeon Manager," said the doctor with a bright smile on his face.

Vasu turned to look at the middle-aged woman and said, "She is my mother-in-law. You and every doctor in this hospital need to take care of her and treat her illness from now on, and my organization will pay for all the expenses."
