Elio Freyr broke their eye contact first and helped himself to sit on the bed in order to get away from her, fast.
When the past is already the topic, the first thing Elio wanted to do is to run away, and that's what he did for the past two years of his life.
"Running away won't solve anything." Madam Loury faced him and out of nowhere said those words that he didn't expect to hear.
"And this is why running away is worth it because of people like you who doesn't know how to stop when you should be."
Madam Loury's expression went flat, and after a while, she just shrugged her head and sighed.
Elio Freyr really has a way to annoy and make the people around him feel so frustrated with and without using words.
"Drink this." A glass filled with green liquid appeared in her hand through a sudden and quick appearance of light that vanished as fast as the thing appeared on her hand.
"Aren't you going to heal me with your magic?"
"Technically, this is made with my magic. Your friend came to see me before you and told me that he accidentally and unconsciously poisoned you with the air inside the Black room."
"Is that how frustrated he was with me? He should've let me die then. I would be the happiest ever."
"Ayden is not that kind of person. He's just having a hard time coping up with changes from the aftermath of what happened two years ago, just like you. But unlike you, he didn't run away and he continued his life even though it was hard for him."
"And for the record, I am not him." He grabbed the glass from Madam Loury's hand as fast as he could and drank the liquid substance that tasted so awful in one go.
The glass vanished from his hand as soon as he emptied it, and he just watched.
"That will take effect for the next thirty minutes. I'll leave you here for now. I'll excuse you for the rest of the day to your Instructors, so make sure to rest and wait for me here before you go. I just need to attend to another student outside."
"I have a question." Madam Loury was about to leave him. She was about to walk forward but she stopped just to hear what he wanted to ask without saying anything.
"You said Ayden can heal himself. How is that possible?" It has been lurking around his mind ever since he heard it from her, but he couldn't find a perfect time to ask it.
"Students are being taught to heal basic wounds for themselves in year three, that's why. Ayden is in year four now."
"That's not how things worked before."
"That’s right. But everything changed after that attack two years ago. If you have another question, ask me later. I need to go."
Madam Loury dragged herself out as fast as she could and went out of the way they had used to enter the place.
Elio Freyr was left alone under the shade of the tree in perfect silence.
He moved up his feet on the bed without removing his shoes, and placed them both on the bed's footboard, and let the rest of his body lie flat on the soft mattress, placing his right arm on his forehead.
"Everything changed after that attack from two years ago you say. I am at the right place then."
The other end of his lips bent up in a sudden, forming a sly smirk on his face while he slowly closed his eyes and covered them with his arm.

Chapter 23: Escaped
"Elio!" Aislah rushed towards him and kneeled beside him. The first thing that came to her mind is to cure him with her water. Samson got beside them and get Esther back to lessen the weight Elio was carrying. A drop of water was floating on Aislah's palm, getting bigger as seconds went by. Chapter 22: Rescue
"Your friends are here." The tension inside the room was getting exhausting, but Elio Freyr remained unbothered, not until he heard Selene's voice again in his mind. Furrows formed in between his brows as he kept his eyes on the people in front of him. "Get your friend out of that room, and I'll stop them from going after you if you don't want your other friends to be in danger as well." Elio Freyr heightened his senses to scan the place where his other friends were in the Dot. They had just walked past through the entrance of the Dot, and he can feel that four of her friends are there, going deeper through the place. Thea, Samson, Aiden and Aislah, as well as Esther, were all present in the Dot with him, and it was not a very good timing to be reunited with them while he was dealing with the ten students from the past. "His friends are here." Rio stated, with a grin plastered on his face. He was getting the hype out of the situation. "What a very good timing." Logan exclaimed
Chapter 21: Complete
"We're still looking for her." Samson answered, without thinking of anything bad about her. "Here? I already looked for her here. But she's not around." Elio was not convinced, but he remained calm while trying to figure out if she was telling the truth or not. He was sure that the person in front of them was the same person who vanished just around the corner. "I've got a word that Esther was seen here. I'm just checking." Samson told her. Elio couldn't say a word and didn't want to. The movements around were getting closer and he could feel it from where he was standing. "You came here together? That's news."Their conversation was interrupted when students started to corner them in a circle. The three of them gathered in the middle, facing their backs with each other. "What's happening?" She asked. "Didn't you know about this, Thea?" Elio prepared himself for a possible attack, while he spoke to her. "How would I know? I just got here." "You were here earlier, you said."
Chapter 20: Missing
"I need to go back to the Dot." Elio Freyr just got out of the Infirmary and back from his own room in the domiciliary. The students that caused commotion in the Infirmary woke up on their own beds there, and fortunately, they were already not in a state of manipulation when they woke up, and their wounds from their afternoon training were slowly healing with Madam Loury's help. "I am banning you from going there." Selene's voice occupied his mind as he was preparing to go back there, changing his clothes. "Why?" "You destroyed a statue, remember?" "I didn't. I told you it's an accident." "And I told you I will find the truth myself. You were just standing there behind the statue, not doing anything. And when you faced it, it started to fall. You used your telekinesis to ruin that statue, Elio Freyr. Don't try to fool me. "Did you…""No." Esther collected herself after almost a minute of not breathing because of what Elio had said. She felt relief that it wasn't Elio, but the fear remained inside of her that she didn't know why. She knew that the statues were made to commemorate the ten students who were named as heroes of the past, but she was not sure why she got nervous the moment she heard the news. Esther rushed to the place where Elio was, and behind her was Aislah and Ayden who were both dumbfounded on what was happening to her. They were concerned that Esther might harm Elio now that he's weak, because of what he did towards him, however, they both knew that Esther is not capable of doing that, especially to her friends.
