"Greyson?" The woman who was none other than Silvia, the CEO of Hayes, furrowed her beautiful brows slightly.

She had just arrived due to some sudden business and did not expect to see her brother being the subject of an embarrassing spectacle on the terrace of her office building.

Greyson turned to the origin of the voice.

"Silvia." He greeted back with an awkward smile. This must not be a pleasant sight for his arrogant sister.

Chloe, who was standing nearby with Bobby and his partner, was surprised to hear their CEO mention the man's name. She seemed to recognize this Hayes man.

Is it possible that this stupid man's words are true that he is the brother of the CEO?

Chloe became anxious.

While Bobby and his partner looked at each other in inexplicable panic.

In one look Silvia could guess what was going on here. She knew that although Greyson had a handsome face, his appearance was not impressive enough for the people who saw him, especially in the Hayes Global office environment. Everything Greyson wore was in stark contrast and pathetic compared to the appearance of the people here.

They must have bullied him and kicked him out.

Then what was Daniel Evans doing right now while his younger brother was kicked out of the family company?

Silvia looked around. Her gaze fell on the two security guards and the receptionist. She stepped closer to the three people.

"CEO Hayes...." Chloe felt like she couldn't breathe. The CEO's gaze seemed to want to kill her.

Silvia really wanted to strangle those three people. The hands hanging on either side of her body were clenched tightly. But then she realized that she had lost control. A moment later, a cold smile appeared on her lips.

"You three, leave this place right now. Starting today, I don't want to see you anymore." He said it in a low tone with almost no pressure.

"CEO Hayes, forgive us." Bobby almost cried for mercy.

The man they kicked out was really a person related to the CEO.

Bobby's coworkers also begged with regret. He regretted helping Bobby deal with this man they thought was crazy.

"CEO Hayes, I don't know what really happened. I only helped Bobby catch this master. I think he has done something wrong." The security partner said shakily. He tried to make his words believable even though it was unlikely that CEO Hayes would believe him.

He had only been on the job for a few days. Would he be fired this quickly?

Oh, he didn't even know the problem.

Just then someone stumbled into the crowd.

"CEO Hayes, I'm sorry. I was doing something in the office. I thought Mr. Hayes would call when he came."

It was Daniel Evans. Someone had just told him about this incident. He was very frightened. Mr. Hayes, the real owner of Hayes Global, was expelled from his own company.

This was a disaster equivalent to the apocalypse!

Silvia Hayes was very fond of her younger brother. Although they were only foster siblings, Daniel knew very well how Silvia treated Greyson. She would never hesitate to be cruel to anyone who oppressed her little brother.

Silvia ignored Daniel's words. She didn't even glance at the man. With an appearance suffused with a terrifying aura, she stepped closer to Greyson.

"Follow me," Silvia said softly as she walked away from the crowd.

"Daniel, you take care of those three. They have brazenly oppressed my brother. Throw them out of the company. And blacklist him from all our branches. I don't want to hire those fools again." Silvia instructed her assistant.

Daniel nodded in respect. "Okay."

***

In her office, Silvia looked at Greyson who didn't seem too affected by the incident just now. Her brows kept furrowing at her brother's appearance. She felt a headache.

"Fix your appearance later. Otherwise, people will continue to misunderstand. Aren't you tired of being insulted like that?" Silvia stood up with her waist ruffled. She almost felt hopeless.

Seven years ago she had successfully forced her younger brother to go abroad to study. She knew Greyson was actually very intelligent. He was just too lazy to use his brain.

Silvia had arranged everything. After Greyson finished his education, Silvia hoped that her brother would take his place in the company. Then she would be free from this responsibility.

But as it turned out, her arrangement came to naught. After the exams ended, Greyson ran away from the university and returned to this city. He didn't even attend the graduation ceremony that was held.

Greyson wandered outside without his diploma. Even though his final grades were very satisfactory. Instead, he opened a small laundry shop and dressed up as a clown every weekend at an amusement park.

The four of them, the sisters who discovered this fact, felt like laughing and strangling Greyson at the same time.

Then Silvia offered a deal. Two years. She gave Greyson two years to be free to do what he wanted. After two years, Greyson had to work for the company. Otherwise, she would have Ivy, the second sister, drag this foolish man to the island for training.

Greyson was even weaker. If it wasn't for the agreement not to interfere in his personal affairs, he didn't know how many people Silvia would have killed for bullying Greyson.

Greyson replied to Silvia's words with a nod that made Silvia even more annoyed.

She refrained from throwing her brother with a stack of documents from the table.

Silvia took from her bag a shiny black card.

"Use this for your needs." She thrust it at Greyson.

The man accepted it with an unpredictable expression. But it certainly didn't look like a happy person.

Silvia hated that expression. What an idiot! She cursed inwardly.

It seemed like this task was far from over.

The old wooden floor creaked beneath his steps. Naomi watched his every move, trying to figure out who he was.“You don’t know him that well,” she said, trying to draw out more information. “Greyson is always calculated. He wouldn’t rush into a place like this.”“Oh, he’ll come,” the man said confidently. “I know how his mind works. He always puts himself on the line for people he believes are worth it.”He pointed toward the door. “Even now, I bet he’s searching for clues at your parents’ house.”Naomi’s ey

Their voices were deliberately lowered, making it impossible to make out their conversation. Then came the sound of a lock being undone, followed by the creak of a turning doorknob. The door pushed open from the outside. Three people stepped into the dimly lit room where Naomi was held. The room itself was shrouded in mystery. The stone walls were old, with peeling paint. A small window was covered by heavy drapes, blocking out all light. The air smelled of dampness and dust, as if the place had been abandoned for years.Naomi’s sharp gaze landed on the man standing directly before her. He wore a dark coat, and his long blonde hair cas

We can help each other."This time, the door creaked open slightly, revealing the weary and anxious face of the middle-aged woman. Traces of dried tears were still visible on her wrinkled cheeks."Come in," Mrs. Reed finally said, her voice hoarse. The simple living room was filled with an air of unease.
