Chapter 03

Caleb stared at him coldly as he asked, "Will you take responsibility if something bad happens to the old man?!"

The burly man replied, "That should be my question, Damn it! You..."

Amber interrupted, "Stop it, Logan! I trust him!"

The burly man named Logan questioned Amber's decision again, "Are you sure, Miss Amber?! What if..."

Before Logan could finish his sentence, Amber said, "This is already the fifth time my grandfather has been back to the hospital, but his condition has never really improved. The doctors have even almost given up, saying that he doesn't have much longer to live.

However, this man claims to be able to cure my grandfather, so it's worth a try. I won't let go of any hope that comes even if it's as small as a grain of sand."

Logan sighed helplessly before finally turning his gaze towards Caleb, "If Old Master Julius' condition gets worse after receiving your treatment, don't blame me for having to kill you!"

Caleb immediately replied as he approached Old Master Julius, "As you wish!"

At this point, Caleb touched the pulse on Old Master Julius' right hand. Realizing that his condition was already very severe, Caleb tried to alleviate it by transferring a little of his internal energy.

Of course, this would only last temporarily. For real treatment, some herbs were needed to be processed in a certain way, followed by acupuncture techniques.

Considering that he didn’t have all the herbs he needed, this was all he could do.

Ten seconds later, Old Master Julius’ condition began to improve. His pale skin had slightly regained its original color. He could now even utter a word or two.

Seeing the significant changes in her grandfather, Amber was extremely happy. It had only been ten seconds since Caleb had touched her grandfather, but her grandfather had already undergone such a profound change?

There was no doubt that this man was a genius doctor!

All the doctors had given up on her grandfather, saying that her grandfather would not live much longer. However, Caleb had given her new hope.

This made her unable to help but say, “Thank you, Mr. Doctor. You have given my grandfather hope to live.”

Amber then handed Caleb her business card, continuing, "Please accept my business card, Mr. Doctor. If you need anything, you can contact me. I will do everything to meet your needs. My family and I have quite a lot of influence in Fluxville City. By the way, can you give me your cell phone number? If something happens to my grandfather that the doctors can't handle, I know where to find you."

Seeing Amber treating Caleb so politely, Logan was annoyed. He then interrupted by saying, You don't need to be so nice to him, Miss Amber. I'm sure he was just lucky."

Hearing that, Amber was annoyed, "Watch your words, Logan! Mr. Doctor has treated my grandfather! You should respect his kindness."

Although Logan refused to do so, he still gave a nod of agreement. He couldn't refuse Amber's words.

Since Amber said that she had quite a large influence in Fluxville City, Caleb had no reason to refuse. Considering that the man who was making out with Ava was the son of a conglomerate, it was clear that to deal with him Caleb needed an equally strong backer.

Therefore, he accepted Amber's business card and gave her his cell phone number.

"If you need my help, call that number immediately. I will definitely come," Caleb said with a warm smile.

Amber was happy that she had made a good impression on this genius doctor. Therefore, she immediately expressed her deep gratitude before finally heading to the hospital.

After that, Caleb walked back to the burial place.

At the hospital, Old Master Julius immediately entered the VIP room and received treatment.

When a doctor examined Old Master Julius's body, he was quite surprised to find that his condition had improved a lot. This made the doctor unable to resist asking Amber, "Didn't you contact me earlier saying that Old Master Julius's condition was getting worse? However, why is it that when I examined him, his condition was the opposite?"

Amber then explained about her encounter with Caleb.

Hearing that, the doctor, who was one of the best doctors in Fluxville City, frowned as he showed an expression of disbelief.

In just ten seconds, he was able to improve Old Master Julius' condition? Moreover, just by touching his pulse point?

He had never heard of such a healing technique.

Of course, the doctor's explanation made Logan smile in satisfaction as he said, "I told you before that he was just lucky, Miss Amber. There's no way someone with a shabby appearance like him is a real doctor. It's obvious that he was just lucky."

Amber didn't give a reply and only showed a complicated expression. Was it a wrong decision to give the man her business card?

What if he used it for something bad? This naturally made Amber regret it. She shouldn't have trusted others so easily.

However, fifteen minutes later, Old Master Julius suddenly had a violent convulsion, causing everyone in the hospital to panic.
