Meanwhile, at the gate, most of the internal staff members were watching a scene which was happening outside with awe and amazement. Logan had gained the upper hand and singlehandedly beat his colleagues that were harassing him. He refused to be a pushover because he wasn't working for them anymore.

Francis took a step back when he saw that Logan was the one winning. He never expected for Logan to be the one winning, he growled, stomping his feet. "Why are you all useless? Such a small task, and you all failed to carry it out."

The security guards were also shocked too. They couldn't explain how Logan could singlehandedly take them down. His power was quite scary.

"What the hell is going out here?" Jared's furious deep voice echoed, gaining everyone's attention.

Francis' face lit up when he saw that it was the company's general manager. "Sir, I'm equally shocked as you are." He rushed over to his side. "This man is really barbaric. If I had known earlier that this is his true nature, I could have gotten him fired a long time ago. Look at how he beat up his colleagues." Francis said, giving the head of security a sign to add more fuel to the fire.

The head of security guard understood Francis' message as he rushed over to Jared. "It's true general manager Sir.  He's really a beast. We were just peacefully telling him to leave the premises just as you had asked but he turned around and attacked us."

"See," Francis interjected, "Mr Fisher, this is considered to be a criminal case. We should hand this trash over to the police and let him rot."

"Shut up!" Fisher yelled as he turned a furious glare at Francis. He grabbed the man on the collar of his shirt. "I suggest you shut that hole you call a mouth and keep it quiet."

The audience, who were numerous workers at the company, were really shocked at Jared's outburst as they began to murmur among themselves. They wondered why he was not agreeing to get Logan arrested.

Francis was beyond confused. "Mr Fisher, what is going on?"

"Listen, you mischievous imp, I'm only going to say this once.” Jared grabbed the man's collar even tighter. "You're going to apologize to Mr Mitchell over here or I'll make you regret the day you stepped foot into this company."

 Everyone gasped.

The audience were stunned by Fisher's words. They wondered what was going on.

"What?" Francis' eyes widened as he stared at Fisher. He was taken aback. "Sir, do you really know what you're asking of me?"

"And I won't ask you again." Jared's voice became more cold, he showed that it was actually a threat. "Apologize to Mr Mitchell right now or lose everything." Then he pushed the director away.

Fear gripped Francis when he saw how serious his superior was. He wondered what changed as he thought of reasons why he would suddenly switch sides. The only reason he could think of was that maybe Logan had offered his beautiful wife to the general manager and now the man was his puppet.

"That whore…" He muttered under his breath as he cursed Ava.

Everyone watched as Francis turned over to Logan. "I am... I am...sorry." Francis said with much reluctance. It was really harder than he thought.

"Apology not accepted." Logan said flatly as he pointed at Francis and then at the people who were watching. "Everyone here could tell that your apology was fake." He said, raising a finger. "You have one last chance to do it right or else, I will walk away." Logan said those last words while looking at Jared.

Jared shook with fear as he remembered his superior’s warning. He turned to Francis with anger. "Are you deaf or just plain stupid?  Can't you hear what he is saying? I want you to go over there, bow to Mr Mitchell and ask for forgiveness. Make sure it's sincere this time or else..."

With how loud Jared's voice was, Francis' body turned stiff as he gulped, before walking towards Logan.

He stood in front of Logan's composed posture, he then slowly bowed. "Mr Logan Mitchell, I am deeply sorry for the trouble I have caused you. Please, can you see it fit to forgive all my wrong doings?"

Everyone stood there shocked, especially the security men and Logan's colleagues who were now shivering in fear. They wondered why a man who held much power and authority in their company was being forced to bow to a poor man like Logan. Things weren't adding up but that was the least of their problems, right now, they feared what Logan would do to them for what they did to him.

Can I have it?” With a warm look on his face, Logan lifted his daughter so he could look her in the eyes. “Of course, my princess, you can have anything you want.” Mia gave Logan a toothy smile before turning her gaze until she spotted a beautiful blue dress. “Dada, I want that Cinderella dress,” “Right away.” Logan carried his little girl to the aisle in the store and gently put her down. Mia had just picked up the dress when another little girl suddenly snatched it from her hand. "This is mine." The girl glared at Mia before pushing her to the ground. The middle-aged couple behind her simply stood there, watching their daughter bully another girl. Logan's eyes widened as he quickly rushed forward to help her up, che

I can't stand seeing your face right now.” She pointed at the bedroom door. “I want you to get out! You're sleeping in the living room tonight until you stop trying to feed me all this nonsense, you're not sleeping anywhere near me!” Logan was speechless. He would have persisted but he could tell that Ava was too tired for this conversation, so he got up and left. Mia finally woke up the next day and cried when she saw her parents. Stacy said, giving Logan a hateful glare. "Just ignore that clown." Leslie said, sneering at Logan. "A lowlife like you who tried to claim Astral Corp's CEO is your butler. How pathetic." Ava walked over to Adriana with a warm smile. "You helped my family and I would like to repay that. How about I buy you dinner? Please, don't refuse me." "Okay, I won't refuse you but if you don't mind, I'll be bringing my older brother. He has always wanted to meet you. If that's okay with you…" Adriana requested and glanced at Logan. Ava agreed immediately. Logan watched how his wife made plans to have dinner with this ridiculous woman and her stupid brother the coming day.

What was that for?" She asked, covering her ears with her hands. "You won't believe who I was talking to just now." Leslie rushed over to her daughter and held her hand. " Astral Corp’s headquarters just called me and they expressed their interest in accepting my proposal." "Oh my, that's good news. How did it happen?" Leslie thought for a minute and then looked at her daughter with a smile. "It was none other than Adriana Lima. I'm sure she did all this. Guess her father does have connections after all." Then Stacy saw her picking up her bag and car keys. "But where are you going, mom?" "To the hospital, dea

"Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.” Logan whispered, almost tearing up. Then he remembered the conversation he had with Leslie and Stacy at the cafeteria. He didn't want to do it, but for Ava, he instructed Alfred. "I need you to give feedback to Smile Corporation on the proposal that the deputy sales director has been trying to get you onboard with. You can instruct them on how to update their proposal and the amount you want to pour into the business, I'll leave it to your capable hands." "Very well sir but if I may ask, the deputy sales director is your mother-in-law, isn't it?" Logan sighed as he shook his head. "If you already know this, then why ask again, Alfred? I already know you ran a background check on me." Alfred chuckled softly. "You seem to know me very well, sire. If that is all, I'll get to work now." The elevator dinged and he stepped out with the phone still in his ears. "Thank you very much, butler Alfred." He said discreetly, not wanting th

Logan turned back to them and said to Leslie in a low voice, "I think it's quite… Good, but your proposal will need a lot of polishing in it if you really want a company like Astral Corp to invest their money into your business." "I don't need your opinion on my proposal." She said with a displeased look. "What do you even know about business?" She quickly held her tongue before she said any more insulting words. She really needed his help so for now, she needed to behave. Logan sucked in a breath, "That can be arranged." He decided that it was no use hiding the truth from them since it would be revealed in the future anyways. "The CEO is my family's trusted steward, so getting you to meet him is nothing." The smile on Leslie's face morphed into a look of anger. "What the heck are you saying?" Logan was shocked about her sudden change in reaction. Did he say something wrong? Stacy suddenly began to laugh. "I told you not to come to this fool for help, mom. Now, look at him
