Hannah glared at her stepmother.

“This is the kind of man you need Hannah, someone who will understand your feelings, someone who is wealthy and capable of taking good care of you and your unborn children.”

Claire wasn’t only trying to force Hannah into getting married because she wanted her out of the family, she knew if it should push through. She would also benefit from it. She might use Hannah’s influence to get something from Antonio.

“You all should stop it,” Hannah exploded in rage. “I am not interested. I don’t want to get to know him, I don’t have feelings for him.”

Without uttering another word or listening to whatever they had to spill, Hannah stood up and left the living room. Leaving everyone in shock and disbelief.

“Hannah, stop there!” Claire called but Hannah ignored her.

Her face twisted in frustration and rage, but she managed to fake a smile. As she averted her gaze towards Antonio.

On the other hand, Antonio was furious; his jaw clenched, but he kept a smile.
