24. Theory Period

"A long time ago, in the ancient days, there were wizards. Wizards were respected as they kept magic in Kingdoms in check. The wizards provided magic for day-to-day activities and the days were peaceful. But as they say, good things don't last.

"Some wizards started becoming greedy for power. They saw themselves as superior and wanted to rule. Among these wizards was Lim. He took his ambition far to another level. He searched and searched until he found a ritual to make himself the most powerful wizard. He informed his friend, Aidan who is another wizard, about this but Aidan wasn't greedy for power, so he refused. That broke their friendship.

"Lim ignored Aidan's warning about the ritual involving strong dark magic. He went ahead and prepared everything, then performed the ritual on a full moon.
