Chapter 14: Two Tramps

Then, Elora and Clover entered the Mineson Family residence.

As soon as they passed through the main door, they were greeted with soothing jazz music. Beautiful ornaments decorated the entire party. Luxurious dishes were served on a giant table in the middle.

Seeing all the sights, Clover felt nostalgic. This party was exactly the same as the ones he had experienced in the past.

However, one thing is different, he is no longer the main character.

In the past, he was greeted with respect, even before he set foot on the floor. Almost all of them were trying to curry favor with him, hoping to pique his interest. It wouldn't be wrong to call them a crowd of ants that greedily devour candy.

However, what Clover received now was the opposite of that. They stared at him coldly and disgustedly, as if he were a fly that had landed on their breakfast.
