Heat And Rut

March 21 20XX,

"Where can I find the best spot?! Come on! Ive been walking for hours now!"

Elijah Suarez, the student of tourism who loves mountain climbing is now in the middle of the woods trying to find the perfect spot to build her tent for her to rest. Her parents allows her to go mountain climbing everytime she wants as long as she won't forget her studies. And now, she chose to climb the mountain of Cleopatra's needle in Palawan together with her friends.

"Tch! I wonder if my friends already build their own?" She murmured.

She was being separated from them because she loves to sightseeing but unfortunately, she got lost. And now, she doesn't know where she is. How many hours has it been? Two hours? Three? She doesn't know at all. She planned to return from where she started when she suddenly heard the sound of the water.

"A river?" She asked herself.

She decided to continue walking and find the source of the sounds and finally find it. Being amazed to what is in front of her Elijah steps forward. In front of her is the small lake, and the sound of water that she heard a while ago is actually from the small waterways that is connected to the lake. She looked around and noticed the tall trees that surrounding the area.

"Whoa!" She exclaimed.

The place is like a secret paradise. But what is this feeling inside her heart? She feels something is missing, and it's like she feels lonely that she wanted to cry.

"Forget it! Let's build the tent here.." She said excitedly.

Before the sunset, she finally finished assembling her tent and she's ready to take her bath. She's alone in the are so it's alright to take a bath naked right?

"I'll eat my dinner later after taking my bath." She said while smiling. "Here I come lake!" She removed all of her clothes and walk towards the lake.

The lake is clean like someone is taking care of it. Elijah soaked her body in the lake and wash her face.

"So tiring.." She murmured again.

She didn't leave the water until it gets dark and to her surprise, The trees that surrounding the lake started to shine, no rather, the fireflies started giving the light to make the place more romantic.

"Oh my God!" She gasped. "What did I find?!" She also exclaimed.

She look up in the sky and noticed the red blood moon. It's so dazzling.

"Should I take some photos? Or just keep this scenery by myself?"

The place sacred for her so, she decided to just keep it hidden and remain undiscovered.

"Nope! I will just enjoy this place by myself and I will come back he---en?"

Elijah suddenly stopped. She smells something in the air.

"Sandal wood with mint?" She said. "Is there a flower that blooming at this hour?" She asked herself again and decided to leave the water.

When she was going to start looking for the source of the scent, she suddenly feel dizzy. Her knees started to tremble going up to her shoulder and down again to her hands until her body started to tremble. Her throat become dry and she wanted to drink some waters. Her heart started beating too fast and she feels her nape is burning.

"What.. What the hell is going on?! Ugh! Ha!" Elijah started to pant.

She touches her nape and started to scratch it. The smooth and cold like gel patch found in her nape so she removed it.

"What's this?!" She has no idea what's going on in her body so she started to get nervous.

The sandal wood with mint scent became thick and started to envelope her, like it's hugging her. She also feel the mint touching her nape. She flinched.

"Ugh... Hah!" She arched her body. "Why does it feel good?" Her eyesight became so foggy.

"Your scent.. I like your scent.." The voice from behind scared the hell out of her.

Elijah look behind her and found the tall man standing one meter away from her. The man eyes is burning with fire, his white v-neck t-shirt is soaked by his own sweat. Under the red blood moon and the help of fireflies, she can tell that the man is uniquely handsome. But..

"W-What is that?" Even her eyesight is foggy, she can still see it. "Why the fu*k you have tail?!" She exclaimed.

The man eyes changed color and it became gold. The h*ll? Does she transmitted to another world or what?! Is she inside the fantasy novel?

"You.. You will be my mate for tonight." The man hoarse voice make her shudder.

"What?!" She asked. "Hnnnggg... Hah!" The Sandal wood attacked her again and she can't fight the dizziness anymore and her body dropped down on the grass.

The man bend his knees beside her and she saw him removed his clothes. She feels his hand touches her body from her knees and leaned closer to capture her dry lips. The next scene is really new for Elijah.

"Ahhh.. Hah.." A moan came out from her throat when the man position himself above her and bite her neck.

"Spread your leg.." The man asked her while caressing her breasts and sucking the small crown on the top of it.

Elijah again arched her body and pulled the man more closer to her. She spread her legs and feel more hot when she feels the hard thing poking in her entrance.

The man's tail wrapped up her left leg and the man pushed himself to finally enter her.

"Ugh!" Elijah gasp in pain. "Y-You..." She didn't finish her word because the man kiss her again.

His tongue wonder around her mouth, teasing her small tongue, sucking it's tip and started to thrust.

"Ahhh... Enm...hah!" The feeling of ecstasy covered her entirely.

All does she know right now is she needs this man to subdue the heat inside her body that makes her sweat and the man's saliva is actually helping her to wet her dry throat.

"More.. Deeper.."

"Hmm.. Your scent, release it more.. I like it." She heard the man speaks and asking her scent.

But what is her scent? She doesn't know it. But the part on her nape is still itching. So she scratched it again and finally, the scent of Vanilla mixed with rose and orange spread around the area. The two types of scents dancing in the air and returned to their bodies and started enveloping them.

"Ahhh.. Ehmm...my mate.. My soul link." The man thrusts more and when he's about to reached the top, he did his final thrust and bite Elijah's neck.

"Ugh!" Elijah gasp after receiving that last thrust and the bite.

The man collapsed above her and she has no choice but to roll over. The tail disappeared, the hot feelings suddenly disappeared.

"He fainted?" Elijah finally regain her normal consciousness and started to move.

She needs to get out of there immediately! Elijah left the man lying on the ground and clean herself in the lake. After that, she get dressed and started to pack her belongings and leave the place while the moon giving her light.

The next morning,

"Young master! Young master wake up!" The voice of Jeffrey awakens him.

He frowned and touches his head.

"What happened?" He asked.

He checked himself and find out that he has no clothes and only the big towel is covering his lower body. He remembered that last night, he run away from home using his helicopter to hide from his all subordinates because he feels hot.

"You don't know what happened?" Jeffrey asked him with curiosity in his eyes.

Jeffrey is his personal assistant. And to answer his question, yes. He really don't know what happened. All he knows is that, he was walking last night and his first rut triggered. He checked himself again..

"What's this scent?" He asked while frowning. "Vanilla scent?" He looks up to his P.A and blinked twice. "Did I survive my rut because I spent it with Omega?"

"S-Sir Dwine, I also don't know. So please, stop asking me. But since you're here and still alive, I think you're right. You.. Found your soulmate!" Jeffrey excitedly exclaimed.

"But, who was it?" He asked.

Again, the two just stare with each other and the question mark popped out in Jeffrey's head.
