"Here's your coat sir." Elijah brought the coat that her boss asked her to get.

They are inside of one of the expensive restaurant in Manila. Her boss is meeting the foreign investors who just arrived yesterday according to the information that Joanna gave her. And a while ago, he asked her to get his coat from the car be he felt cold all of a sudden. She doesn't know if it was true or he does lie but she still followed him.

"Put it on." He said.

"Huh?"

"I said, put it on. You seems feeling cold."

Elijah rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. She followed his order because she thought, he really need the coat. But he want her to wear it?

"But I don't feel cold?"

Dwine averted her eyes and stand up instead. He take the coat from her hands and put it on to her.

"I'm not blind." He said.

Elijah couldn't read the mood. But when she saw the man eyes, she understood the situation a little. Her Boss wants to use her as a scapegoat.

"Sorry, I'm indeed feeling cold." She said.

"En. I know." Dwine look back to the foreigner who still sitting and said. "I'm sorry Mr. Miles, my personal assistant seems to be sick so I need to bring her to the nearest clinic."

"Ahh.. You said, she's your personal assistant? Do you really have to bring her with yourself?" The man seems to noticed that Dwine is trying to run away.

He just need to tell him that he doesn't like the proposal, why does he need to use her as an excuse? She really can't understand rich people.

"But I'm not that kind of employer. My staff health is also important to me." He said before pulling her hands. "Let's go."

She just follow him, and when they finally out of the building, Elijah withdrew her hands voluntarily.

"Where should we go next, Sir?" She asked.

The man didn't answer. He just entered the car and wait for her to enter too and he asked the driver to drive. It's almost lunchtime, she's a bit hungry now.

"Hello, Joanna. Order some food for two. We're on our way back."

Oh! He called his secretary? Can't he just ask her to do the job?

"Sir, can I also take my lunch while you are taking yours? She need to asked permission, right?

"That's why I ordered two meals.. Didn't you hear?" He looked at her.

"Ahh.. Okay."

What is in his mind, really? She really want to ask but being shy to do so. She also need to know about Werewolves. She stole a glance while her Boss is busy reading some proposals. His eyelashes are longer than she has. His nose is in perfect shape, what a perfect handsome looking guy.

"Why are you staring at me?"

Elijah skipped a beat of her heart when the man suddenly captured her sight.

"Sorry" she apologized immediately.

"What do you want to ask?"

Dwine folded the paper that he was reading and put it aside.

"Nothing.."

"Are you sure you don't have anything to ask?"

Elijah nodded twice and just peek at her phone.

"Then let me do the asking. What are you?"

She pause for a second after hearing his question.

"What do you mean by what I am? Aren't I human?" She tilted her head while asking.

The handsome guy didn't disagree or even agree. He just continue staring at her.

"I should be the one asking you that kind of question sir." Elijah couldn't take it anymore.

She seriously fight his gaze and face him too.

"What kind of question?" He asked.

"What are you?"

Dwine continue staring at her. He then changed his position and leaned closer to her.

"I'm a werewolf. And an Alpha. How about you?" He whispered in her ear that makes her shudder.

"How do I believe that? I never seen one." She also leaned closer to him and also whispered.

She smelled the scent of sandal wood with mint in his neck. So it really was him. He's the one who made her lost her mind that night. How sad, he can't remember her. She withdrew herself and look at him again. But to her surprised, Dwine pulled her again and whispered in her ear again.

"I'll show you later." He said before withdrawing himself.

Do they really need to pull each other, leaned closer and whispered to each other during this conversation? Elijah look at the front and noticed the driver. She then look back at the man sitting beside her. So, the driver isn't like him.

"If you say so.." She said while shutting her eyes closed.

"I just hope you don't run away in fear."

Elijah smirked. If she does feel scared, shouldn't it be that night when she saw him with a tail and also have a golden eyes? She doesn't even ran away or even shouted that night.

"Why are you smirking?" he copied her position.

"If I am scared.. It should be that time." She murmured.

"What?"

Elijah finches when she heard her Boss speak in front of her face. She also smells his breath.

"Too close, can you please withdrew yourself a little?" She said without opening her eyes.

"How am I supposed to hear you if I do that?"

His voice sounds hoarse. Is he trying to flirt with her or is he trying to figure her out? She has no choice but open her eyes.

"We can continue talking when we get back. That's what you've said a while ago."

They locked their gazes and no one speaks after that. Elijah remember this position too. That night, he also look at her like this before capturing her lips and thrust more. And also that time, she were just moaning nonstop and scratching his back.

She closed her eyes again when remembering that scenes. She doesn't want this guy to know about it. Not even from her eyes.

"How unfortunate, I seem to remember something but its always ended up being blurry in my mind." He said again.

Elijah secretly gulped while flinching.

"If you can't remember it, why not forget it?"

"I can't do that." He said.

"Why not?" This time, her voice sounds hoarse too..

"Because I really wanted to remember it."

When Elijah open her eyes again. The golden pair of eyes is looking at her seriously. Ahh... How she missed this eyes.. She wanted to touch it.. She wanted that eyes to look at her naked body again. Elijah snapped out her thoughts.

"Interesting, you're not even surprised after seeing my golden eyes."
