In the conference room of the Smith family, both sides were at a stalemate and the situation was getting out of hand.

"James Smith, is this how you educate your children?" Ethan glanced at James and said, "I can overlook what happened before, but this time, there can be no mistakes in the marriage between Camila and the second son of our family."

"Considering the sudden proposal from the Anderson family, it is convenient for business dealings between our companies, and for Camila, she has found a reliable home. It's a win-win situation."

Sitting silently on the side, James' couldn't help but nod and smile, "Yes, I will definitely persuade Camila."

"Yes, big brother, you must persuade Camila. It's not easy for her to raise a child alone. It's time to find a partner."

"Camila, don't hesitate anymore. The second son of the Anderson family has a wealthy family. You won't lose out by marrying him."

Looking at the ridicule of her relatives around her, Camila was completely disappointed in this family.

First, her father's deception, in order to make her hold her head up in the family, he didn't consider her feelings and forced his own daughter to marry someone almost twenty years older than her.

As for her grandfather, he didn't consider his granddaughter's feelings at all.

His heart was only for the family company, and he could do anything for the development of the company.

As for those aunts and uncles, they had a high-handed attitude and didn't care about anything that didn't concern them.

It wasn't their own daughter who was getting married.

Once this marriage was settled, the Anderson family would definitely help the Smith family, and the Smith family would naturally develop.

They would also benefit from it.

Looking at the ugly faces of her family members one by one, Camila felt a sense of disgust, especially towards her own father.

This marriage was completely wrong, and he shouldn't have used Ryan to deceive her.

Ryan had clearly come back last night, but he still lied to her and said that he had found Ryan.

"That's enough. I'm not going to marry him. Whoever wants to marry him can go ahead and do it." Camila said, turning around and walking out of the office.

"Big brother, look at the good daughter you've raised. She's completely disrespectful and has no manners. You've spoiled her since she was young." Amelia said unkindly.

Suddenly, James phone rang. He took out his phone and showed it to Ethan, saying, "Dad, it's Mr. Joe from the Anderson family calling."

"Answer it." Ethan said.

The phone was answered.

"Hello, Master Joe." James' smiled and greeted him.

"Uncle James, did little Camila go back? You guys need to prepare for the wedding on Monday." Mr. Joe chuckled on the other end of the phone.

Hearing himself being called "uncle", James' heart skipped a beat.

He was only twelve years older than Joe Anderson, and being called "uncle" by him was not a good feeling, But what could he do?

He could only say helplessly, "Everything is ready, you can rest assured."

"Okay, then I'll rest assured." Mr. Joe hung up the phone after speaking.

Ethan looked at James and said in a low voice, "Camila, I've already said it before. You know the importance of this marriage alliance. Whether our family can further develop in the future depends on you."

"Last night, Camila went to negotiate the contract with Master Joe. One, she wanted to take this opportunity to let the two of them meet and get to know each other. Two, once the marriage is done, this contract worth twenty million will be signed immediately."

At this point, James' could no longer contain himself and stood up, saying, "Dad, don't worry. I will make sure that the wedding on Monday goes smoothly. Even if I have to tie up Camila, I will do it. This marriage must happen."

Ethan, sitting on the stool, nodded and said, "This is my child. Go ahead." He waved his hand, indicating that James' should go and take care of his own affairs.

The other people present all turned their faces away and laughed softly.

"Come here." James shouted loudly, and four security guards immediately came in.

He said, "Let's go, follow me to bring Camila up."

"Yes." The four security guards immediately stood up straight, saluted, and followed James' out of the conference room.

Inside the Smith family villa.

Camila returned to her residence with a sad face. Ryan was still angry because of Andrew Wilson's departure last night and did not go to kindergarten.

When she entered the room, Camila put down her bag and lay on the sofa, thinking about the recent events that made her heart ache.

The faith she had persisted in for five years had only brought doubt and suspicion.

Looking at Ryan walking out of the room, she hugged him and cried in pain.

Tears flowed down her cheeks, and she couldn't remember how many times she had cried recently.

Just as Camila was holding Ryan in pain, the door of the room was opened.

A strong figure blocked the sunlight coming in, and Camila slowly raised her head, hoping that it was the person she had been longing for, but it wasn't.

The person walked into the room, followed by four security guards.

"Camila," James' said softly.

Camila looked up, then lowered her head and continued to hold Ryan without saying a word.

"Dad knows this is not right. Do you think I want to force you to do this?" James said, "It's all because of your grandfather. Just now, the second son of the Anderson family, Mr. Joe, called me uncle. Do you know how painful it is for me? How can I bear to marry my beautiful daughter to a man in his mid-forties?"

"What kind of person is Joe Anderson? Don't you know? He wanted to take advantage of me by borrowing the signing contract last night. If I marry him, do you think I will live a peaceful life?" Camila said.

"Blame it on you for being born in the Smith family," James shook his head and said, "As a father, I don't want you to get married, but as a member of the family, you have to get married."

"So, I am just a pawn in the family. Family interests are more important than anything else, and I can only obey unconditionally. Is this what you mean?" Camila cried.

"Think whatever you want," James' said, "The four of you should stay in this room and not leave. If anything happens to Camila, you'd better leave early."

"Okay." The four security guards answered together.

Seeing this, Camila's legs went weak and she sat directly on the ground.

Ryan went forward and hugged Camila saying, "Mom, don't cry. I'll call Dad and let him come and beat them up for you. Dad is very powerful."

As he spoke, he ran into the house, took out his phone, and was about to call Andrew Wilson.

Looking at the innocent Ryan, Camila showed a slight smile and said, "Ryan has grown up and knows how to protect his mother."

Three people got into a car and headed towards the Smith family company. "Maybe we shouldn't go," Camila leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder, her face full of anxiety. "My grandfather and father hate you to the bone. I'm afraid something will happen if you go. Besides, they want me to get married next Monday. If you suddenly appear, I don't know how they will treat you." Andrew Wilson smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry. Since I dare to go with you to see them, I am prepared. You can take a nap if you didn't sleep well last night. I'll wake you up when we get there." He lightly brushed Camila's nose as he spoke. "Annoying," Camila said shyly. "Our child is here too, be careful." "Mama, I want to touch your nose too," Little Ryan suddenly said. "Why is your face turning red?" "That's because your mother feels very hot right now," Andrew Wilson laughed. After a sleepless night and mental exhaustion, the mother and son leaned on Andrew Wilson's shoulder and lap a

Outside the university town, Andrew Wilson was sound asleep in a hotel room when a phone call came in. "Who is it?" Andrew Wilson complained without curiosity. "It's me, Dad, Ryan Wilson." Andrew immediately woke up and sat up. "Ryan, what's wrong? Didn't you go to school today?" "No, Dad. Can you come here? I'm so scared. Grandpa just came and bullied Mom. He wanted Mom to get married, but Mom refused. Grandpa scolded her and there were four fierce uncles standing at the door, not letting us out. I want to go out and play with Mom." "I know. l'll be right there." After hanging up the phone, Andrew Wilson wondered if he had really misunderstood Camila. Maybe what scorpion said was right. Sometimes what he saw and heard with his own eyes and ears might not be true. He thought back to last night and realized that he had only complained about Camila and hadn't given her a chance to explain before leaving. Andrew Wilson picked up the phone and called Robert White. After leaving the Smith family's courtyard, Andrew Wilson hailed a taxi and got in. "Driver, to the University City," Andrew Wilson blurted out. "Okay." As for why Andrew Wilson was going to the University City, even he himself was confused. Outside the window, the buildings flashed by floor by floor. In the night of Los Angeles , the lights were dazzling, and the city was much quieter than during the day. His phone rang in his pocket. "Master Andrew, I have safely escorted Teacher Evelyn home. Where are you now? I'll come pick you up immediately," Robert White said respectfully on the other end of the phone. "No need, you can go back. l'll take a walk by myself," Andrew Wilson said softly. Robert White didn't dare to ask any more questions. He knew very well that Andrew Wilson, as a nobleman, would be considered as stalking him if anyone asked about his whereabouts. "What am I going to do? I hope I didn't blind myself by hitting my eye just now," Nathan, the supervisor, said with a hint of despair as he watched Andrew Wilson approach him. "Don't forget that we live in a society governed by the rule of law. If you kill me, you will also be sentenced," he continued. "In a society governed by the rule of law? You still know that it's a society governed by the rule of law," Andrew Wilson rebuked. "You've done so many unethical things in school, drugging and seducing female teachers, leaving your post without permission, and losing your moral compass. You don't deserve to live." "Even if I were to be sentenced to death, it wouldn't be up to you to decide. It would have to go through the judicial department, and you can't take the law into your own hands," Nathan hurriedly explained. Upon hearing this, Andrew Wilson's lips curled into a smile as he said, "Do you recognize this?" He took out a token from his waist, on which was carved a
