Most Unlucky Day

1.     University can be said to be a bridge to the future. Most young people come to unervices with all their dreams. Others may have a specific reason, like Raizel. He went to college just to fulfill his parents' wishes.

Raizel stood in front of his locker to retrieve some of books. As Raizel closed the locker door, his gaze focused on the beautiful woman 3 lockers away from where he stood.

"Hey Yumna, look at that weird guy keep looking at you!" said the curly-haired girl who was facing Raizel, while Yumna herself was standing with her back to him.

Yes, the beautiful student was named Yumna. She had waist-length straight hair, a small face, full lips, round eyes with a sharp nose like a living doll from Southeast Asia. Yumna shook her hair to find out which guy her friend was talking about.

So pretty! Oohh, are you looking at me right now?

Raizel's heart pounded. He stiffly paused and could only speak silently with his gaze not leaving Yumna.

"Ohh," Yumna regretted that she had exerted so much energy to find out. She instantly recognized it was Raizel who always made her uncomfortable. How not to be disgusted when every time the two of them met Raizel looked at her without blinking.

"Hey, Yumna! Come back!"

"Yumna! What are you doing with that poor guy?"

"Yumna, stop! Save your energy!"

A loud shout from Yumna's friends warned her. They were surprised when Yumna slapped Raizel on the cheek. Suddenly snapping Raizel out of his reverie, he clutched his cheek which felt hot, stinging all the way to his solar plexus.

"W-why did you slap me?" asked Raizel nervously. The confused man was still holding his cheek, staring at the angry Yumna in front of him.

"Hey perverted man! Stop that disgusting stare! I often catch you staring at me without blinking, and you're even drooling too! Ihhh, damn bitch!" Yumna pointed at Raizel's face. She was so angry with her up and down breathing that she did not hesitate to slap Raizel again.

"Who are you calling a pervert? I-I was just admiring from afar. Was I wrong?" protested Raizel tongue-tied. He didn't intend to give an excuse, somehow the word just fell out of his mouth.

"Cuih! Get out of my sight right now!" snapped Yumna as she spat without saliva. She turned away with a sinister face. Suddenly the incident attracted the attention of many pairs of eyes, so that the crowd of people who were there could not be avoided.

At the back of the crowd was an influential student among them all. He was Draco, the son of an official who was famous for making trouble. So it was only natural that Draco was feared by all the students.

"Yumna?" muttered Draco. He scanned Yumna's angry face, then he looked back at the woman and found Raizel defending herself. Draco cursed in annoyance, "Asshole! I can't stand to see that weakling act up!"

Draco clenched his fists, he wanted to hit Raizel this very second. However, his efforts were stifled when Viu interrupted fearfully.

"Sorry, boss. Chairman Lao would like to speak with you," Viu said, looking down. He held out the phone towards Draco without daring to look his boss in the eye.

Draco clamped his mouth shut tightly, he was reluctant to let Raizel go so easily. On the other hand, he could not ignore the phone call from his father. Draco took the cell phone, then he gave orders to Viu, "Get that weakling to the next building! I want to finish him off!"

"Yes, Boss!" replied Viu immediately. He half bowed until Draco left him and only Draco's voice was left greeting Chairman Lao over the phone.

It wasn't long before the crowd dispersed, leaving Raizel with a grim look on his face. He walked down alone, heading towards his lecture hall. Not a single person wanted to approach Raizel, even they didn't care and considered the spectacle as entertainment.

"How long is life like this going to last!" complained Raizel as he shuffled along. He had survived for the past year by ignoring any derogatory stares, scorn, or rude behavior from his college friends.

Time seemed to fly, Raizel still had no zest for life. He dragged his feet heavily out of class through the crowd of students. Raizel shrieked in pain while holding the back of his head, "Aughhh! Shit!"

Raizel looked back at the sound of a soda can falling, clinking on the floor. Suddenly it provoked laughter from the crowd of students who were not far from Raizel.

"Hey, you pervert! Get lost!" exclaimed one of the students while laughing out loud followed by the scorn of his friends.

Raizel was about to open his mouth to ask for justice, he didn't accept the rough treatment. However, he abandoned the idea when another object flew and was deliberately thrown by the students towards him. Raizel shielded his face with his elbow, he looked down and turned around to leave the place immediately.

"Ha ha! Good, just go and never come back!" exclaimed one of the students who was greeted with louder laughter than before.

"Asshole! I've had it!" swore Raizel irritably. Although his chest rumbled with emotion, he didn't have the guts to fight them. He just kept walking fast while clenching his fists tightly.

Misfortune did not stop for Raizel, he who was walking fast accidentally bumped into someone's back. Raizel raised his head with a worried face, he asked, "Sorry, this is my fault. Are you okay?"

Raizel's hanging words were replaced with a sense of fear that attacked him. He took a few steps back when he realized the person he hit was Viu.

"You bastard! Take this!" Viu exclaimed with a hardened jaw. He drove his fist into Raizel's stomach without caring if he was in a public place, witnessed by many people like this moment.

"Arggh! T-that hurts" moaned Raizel as he bent down.

Viu along with Draco's other two men stood before Raizel. Viu was in control after Draco, he gave the order, "Quickly drag him to the narrow alley in the next building!"

"W-wait! What are you going to do to me? Arggh! I apologized earlier!" exclaimed Raizel who was trying to defend himself, he struggled from the grip of Draco's men.

"Shut your mouth, asshole!" swore one of Draco's men while slapping Raizel's face. He dragged Raizel's forced body following Viu who was already walking first.

No one stood up for Raizel, instead they paved the way for Viu and his followers. Raizel with shame, fear, anger was helpless.

They arrived at a narrow alley not far from the university building. Raizel's body was pushed until he fell to the ground. He could smell the fresh shoe polish, right above his head the shoe lifted high and stepped on his back. The person was none other than Draco, he threatened Raizel, "Hey, you little bastard! Get off campus, otherwise you'll be treated like this every day!"

"Hegh! W-why? What did I do wrong?" asked the struggling Raizel trying to get an explanation.

Draco turned his face away in annoyance, he turned around with an offended face after hearing Raizel's answer. Draco raised his leg high, then he stomped on Raizel's back several times. He swore loudly, "Fine. Then die now!"
