Daniel felt as though he was about to pass out, his body exhausted and his mind weary from the constant battles he had been facing. But as he closed his eyes, a flash of light and a strange sensation passed through his body, and he heard a robotic yet commanding female voice inside his head.
"Prerequisites for Overcome System Achieved," the voice said.
"Bounding system to the host."
"Bounding successful."
"Welcome to the Overcome system! Overcome!"
Daniel was bewildered, wondering if he was dreaming or hallucinating. He looked down and saw a semi-translucent panel in front of him, reading "Welcome to the Overcome system! Overcome!".
Suddenly, he felt as if something was being bound to him, and he couldn't move his body. He felt an invisible force being connected to him, like an extra limb but at the same time, he can't really explain the feeling of it. The voice spoke again, "Please remain still while the system integrates with your body."
After what felt like an eternity, he felt a sudden flow of energy surge through his body, and his eyes snapped open. He no longer felt weak and dizzy, and he somehow had enough energy to stand up.
Daniel had a million questions racing through his mind, but he knew he had to trust this system for now.
As he stood up, he noticed that everything around him felt surreal, like he was in a dream. However, he knew that this was not a dream. He had been given something extraordinary, something akin to the powers he had read about in the online novels he enjoyed.
Daniel had always been a fan of reading online novels. Some of the stories he has been reading recently are Mutagen, Solo Leveling, Complete Martial Arts Attributes, Super Gene, Release That Witch, and many more. He spends hours on W******l and other websites immersing himself in different genres, ranging from fantasy and sci-fi to romance and mystery. He found himself imagining himself as the protagonist, with incredible powers and abilities, lost in the stories' worlds and able to escape reality for a while. He never thought that he would ever experience something like that in real life.
After a while, he heard the voice once more.
"Welcome to the Overcome System, host. I am the AI that will guide you through your journey to overcome."
Daniel's curiosity was piqued, and he asked, "How does the system work?"
"As the AI that guides you on your journey to overcome, I will give you missions that may or may not be related to situations you are experiencing or may experience. The system reserves the discretion of when to give out the missions. You, as the host, will need to overcome the missions in exchange for ludicrous rewards and points you can use to improve yourself. Failing to overcome the missions means losing the rewards, but in rare cases, the system may add penalties to ensure your safety and well-being if it determines it is necessary." the voice explained.
After days of feeling hopeless and defeated, Daniel finally had something to look forward into. For the fist time in days, he felt hope. He felt a newfound sense of excitement as he wondered what kinds of challenges the Overcome System would present to him, and what rewards he could earn by overcoming them. With this powerful tool at his disposal, he was determined to face any obstacle that lay ahead. He was ready to overcome anything that came his way.

"As a welcome gift, you will receive your first bonus package," the AI announced.
Daniel's eyes widened as he saw a notification appear on the translucent panel in front of him. The notification read, "Congratulations on becoming a host of the Overcome System! You have received the First Bonus Package."
Curiosity got the better of him as he opened the package, revealing several items that appeared in front of him in a holographic display.
"As a welcome gift, you will receive your first bonus package," the AI announced.
Daniel's eyes widened as he saw a notification appear on the translucent panel in front of him. The notification read, "Congratulations on becoming a host of the Overcome System! You have received the First Bonus Package."

The system's shop and other features are currently inaccessible, and will only be unlocked once the host successfully completes their first mission.
- A 3 Bedroom Penthouse Condo Unit, worth around Php. 38,000,000 which is located in Triangle North Mall, Vertis North, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Dues and maintenance of the unit will be taken care of by the system.
Daniel's eyes widened in disbelief as he read the welcome reward message from the Overcome System. He couldn't believe his luck. A hundred thousand pesos, a hundred overcome points, and a luxurious penthouse condo in one of the most sought-after locations in the city. It was almost too good to be true.
Daniel pondered over what the system shop and other features might entail, but he decided to set those thoughts aside for now as they will only come after the first mission so he put the thought aside for now.
He couldn't help but smile at the thought of finally being able to move out of his small apartment and into a more comfortable space. He had always dreamed of living in a high-rise condominium, and now that dream was becoming a reality.
As he read through the message again, he felt a sense of gratitude toward the Overcome System. For the first time in a long time, he felt that there was something good happening in his life. He was excited to see what other rewards he could earn by completing missions and overcoming challenges.
"The system hopes that this bonus package will aid you in your journey to overcome. Now, it's time for your first mission."
Daniel was excited and nervous at the same time. He had no idea what kind of mission he would be given or what challenges he would face. But he was determined to succeed.
