Chapter 24

Riele's POV.

Relentlessly opening my eyes and raising my head which seemed to hurt, it met an old, weak ugly wall in front of me causing me to wonder where I really am. My eyes wandered away from the wall, and around my current location.

A steel bar by my right, and sleeping people by my left, then it dawned on me. I'm in jail. I closed my eyes, as a loud sigh came out of me. I thought It'd be impossible to sleep in such a place, but it turns out too much thinking dozed me off, and I'm still in the same position I was when I entered. I slept on my butt. Something I've never done before. Prison life does change a person.

My eyes immediately opened as I heard footsteps coming from the right side of the hallway to where my cell is located.

I rubbed my neck trying to straighten my head as it hurts due to the position I slept in. My head felt like it was thrown into planet freefall. I pray I don't start having headaches in this situation I'm in.
