RIELE'S POV.

I couldn't help but stare at the man in front of me.

Mr. George Black. A very famous lawyer, and Dean's father.

Unbelievable, but I feel so lucky.

"I need to know all there is to know about your case, so I can defend you." He began.

I nodded.

"Did you kill Vida Ortega?"

I sighed. "I didn't."

"Before coming here, I sought out all the information, and I was told about you claiming you saw Vida. Is that right?"

I nodded.

"Do you know that could make you crazy?" He asked.

"But it's the truth."

"You really saw her?"

I nodded. "I won't lie if I didn't."

"Do you have anyone to prove your statements?"

Sadness overwhelmed me at the question. "No."

"And there is no evidence to prove where you were on that Halloween night?"

I sighed. "There is, but she lied."

"You mean Jules Simmons, right?"

I nodded.

"Why would she lie?"

"She doesn't like me, and I never liked her. We were actually quarreling that night." I said truthfully.
