TECHON LABs Headquarters.

Today, the news outlet had a filed day at Techon, the police cars could number hundreds and the special investigation team scouted the scene of the crime with keen interest.

“How does the bitch keep vanishing from our security cameras”. Mr George Brown interrogated the police woman handling the case.

“It’s because someone keeps hacking into them and replacing the image of the time she passes by with the previous time a footage was taken”.

Mr George Brown hissed.

“In that case, fix it and figure out who the bitch is”.

“It’s not that easy Mr Brown, If something like this can be fixed by using another genius then I assure you that woman would’ve been behind bars eons ago”.

“Fuuuuck, my head is on the line here, we’ve got to find her somehow”.

The woman looked around her as if worried they were being spied on before continuing.

“That lady is wanted by seventeen governments, eighteen syndicates and over twenty-four criminal organizations and mafia groups around the world, she’s got a lot of enemies Mr Brown. And there’s a reason why she’s not dead yet”.

“And why is that?”. Mr Brown asked expectantly.

“She’s ghost”.

There was a short moment of silence before George finally snapped.

“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN”.

“Shhhhhhhhh”.

Mr Brown slanted he’s brows even more, at this point the only thing keeping him from wrestling the gun of this dumbass officer and shooting the place up was the last thread of sanity instilled into him by the CEO.

“I saw her Hazel, she looked and felt like a living human”.

The auburn haired officer named Hazel gazed straight into Mr Browns eyes and replied coldly.

“Ghost is the name her victims gave to her, in actuality she doesn’t exist, ‘wait let me finish, don’t give me that look’, Ghost has no records of any kind in any country or data base in existence, no relatives, no past nor present, she’s like a ghost, but you see Mr Brown, the thing about ghost is that they are called that because they used to be someone, so all we have to do now is figure out who she was”.

Mr Brown smiled derisively at himself.

How the hell is he supposed to find somebody that can erase their existence to the point of being considered a ghost of all things.

“Where do we start?”.

“She stole Blessed Gems, so we simply find Blessed individuals hungry for wealth and fame, just like her”.

Mr George Brown leaned in closer as if afraid he won’t be able to hear what Hazel is about to say.

“And where is that Hazel?”. Mr George Brown asked.

“Olympus”.

...

Argh.

Cough!!!

“You alright kid?”.

Lisa locked the door behind her and held up Liam and assisted him to the bed.

Liam desperately sucked in oxygen while attempting to grab the air in front of him, with he’s hand, he only relaxed when he felt Lisa’s warmth.

“Ho-Who are you?”.

“It’s Aphrodite love”.

“Aphrodite, you’re a Goddess?”. Liam said skeptically.

“Yah, Yeah love, sure am”. At this point Lisa held the crimson Blessed gem in her hands and began to admire it’s malicious aura.

“Where are you going?, If you’re a Goddess, please take me with you”. Liam requested with the little bit of sanity left in him before he’s eyes closed completely.

Lisa gazed quietly at the sleeping Liam before indifferently walking towards the window with the blessed gem in hand.

“My blessed gem”. She whispered to herself.

But the instant she climbed over the window a dark crimson glow pulled her back forcefully.

“What the fuck”. Lisa expressed.

The blessed gem had a brilliant crimson glow surrounding it as it refuses to be abducted from Liam’s room.

“Come on, didn’t he fail, so now what are you throwing a fit for?”.

The blessed gem naturally didn’t responded to Lisa, but as if doing so a soft red glow lit up the gem like the sun rays of the late evening, and at the same time another glow was captured from the side of Lisa’s eyes, and it came from Liam’s right palm.

“I’m gonna regret this, ain’t I”.

...

Julie never finished her breakfast, in fact she got up and left the moment Mr O’Neil stepped out of the house, apparently something important happened at work so he’s got to personally look into it.

Julie casually walked across the fancy stairs and through the hallway leading to Liam’s room.

She didn’t walk for long, barely five minutes actually, so she eventually reached her brothers doors.

Julie silently stood at the front of it for almost a minute now without being able to knock.

She was too scared to, scared of losing another important person in her live due to the exact same reasons.

freedom, it’s sounds simple but only to those who never felt oppressed or controlled before, that little thing called freedom is to die for.

Julie eventually worked up the courage to knock, but there was no response, she knocked some more and even called out to Liam several times but there wasn’t any response.

At this point Julie was starting to get worried.

She opened the door to Liam’s room and was met with an unexpected scene as her eyes went wide and her mouth adorably forming an o shape.

...

“You kidnaped the TECHON kid, whoaaah, you’ve definitely got fame checked off your bucket list”. Jacky joked, while stuffing he’s face with a hamburger.

“What no, that wasn’t what happened”. Lisa defended but immediately went silent after once more facing the unconscious Liam sleeping peacefully on her bed.

“Fuck this man”. Lisa said before pulling out the crimson gem and raising Liam’s palm to show jacky what happened.

Liam’s right palm had a crimson tattoo on it, jacky found it difficult to discern what was drawn but it did look like a crimson sword, a broken one covered in cracks.

Jacky thought for a moment.

“It’s possible the blessed gem is fated to serve the kid but he was still rejected by it, it’s also possible he’s not ready yet or contradicting wills exist within him”.

“Oh I see, so teenage problems are the reason why he was repelled... Damn it jacky I need you to tell me something useful, how the hell do I get my blessed gem back?”.

“Alright alright, we can use two methods”.

“Which are?”. Lisa asked hastily.

“First, we can wait till he dies in Olympus, ‘OR’, we can chop the hand off and see whether the gem will be willing to choose another master”.

The female almighty floated with a calmness that belied the storm of emotions within her. Her annoyed scowl deepened, yet her heart betrayed her composed exterior, its rhythm accelerating against her will. The audacity of this battle was incomprehensible an almighty pushed to this extent by a mere county level blessed? If word of this ever reached the outside world, the sheer absurdity of it would shatter their perception of reality. Liam’s battered body lay amidst a pile of rubble, his arms entirely obliterated by her instinctive aura blast. His blood clung to the steel debris, sizzling as though the metal itself had absorbed the heat of his agony. His organs were ruptured, his chest rising and falling in an unnatural rhythm, yet the fire of resistance seemed extinguished at least, that’s what she thought. The female almighty’s gaze flicked toward the City Lord’s manor, her expression cooling slightly. Thankfully, the City Lord had not intervened, choosing instead to send

"Still not taking me seriously?" Liam said with a smirk. In a split second, he vanished from where he stood, the wind creating a sonic boom where he last stood as he instantaneously broke the sound barrier. The female almighty wasn't too surprised. She had seen him fight the county-level blessed and knew he had a bizarre blessing that made it seem like he had multiple authorities at once. They typically involved a strong pressuring aura, super regeneration, super strength, super durability, super senses, and the one he's using right now, super speed. Liam flinched when he realized that the female almighty was still able to trace his movements, even while he was moving as fast as he possibly could. "She's a tad bit faster than I am, but no matter." Liam backhanded his blade and struck from behind, but the female almighty wouldn't make the same mistake of letting his sword touch her body again. She vanished and appeared above him, with a piece of a broken pillar in her hand,

It looked like a tiny crimson gem, glowing with a faint but powerful energy. Each delicate swirl released a thin stream of hegemon aura, which wound its way through Liam's body like a snake, creeping along hidden channels that looked like veins made of pure energy. Liam had a feeling something strange was going on the moment he swallowed the hegemon gem. He’d only swallowed it because Hybris had kept annoying him to no end, and he wanted her to feel the same way. He should have known something was wrong the moment she stopped mentioning it. But he never expected it would somehow end up lodged in his lower abdomen. Worse, it had become his dantian, whatever that was. He barely knew what a dantian was, but from what Hybris had muttered between insults, it was something reserved for high-level blessed, those who could fly, wield powerful state-level divine authorities, and crush anyone beneath them. Now, somehow, it was his turn to play in that league. Crimson aura surged in

Liam catapulted forward, his aura blazing like an inferno, rippling through the air as it distorted the very space around him. The earth beneath him shattered, sending chunks of debris spiraling into the sky as his feet dug into the ground. His target, the female almighty was ever ethereal, her calm demeanor unshaken by the fury of Liam’s assault, She floated there like a statue of indifference. His fist shot forward, colliding with her face in a thundering crash. The sound reverberated through the air, but it was Liam who felt the backlash. His fist erupted into a grotesque mix of blood and bone fragments, the pain searing through his body like molten iron. Yet, she didn’t so much as flinch. Liam staggered back, blood dripping from his mangled hand, but retreat wasn't on his mind. He planted his feet firmly on the ground, his chest heaving as he funneled every ounce of energy into his aura. His wounds closed almost as soon as they had opened, flesh stitching itself back to

The state level almighty effortlessly floated down from the private room, her presence commanding the entire space as she hovered mid air, defying gravity with a grace that left the lower level blessed in awe. It was as if the very air around her bowed in deference, parting softly as she descended, her every movement exuding a power that was both ethereal and terrifyingly real. Her form was immaculate, not just in its physical beauty, but in the aura of invincibility that surrounded her, possibly a radiant force field that seemed to push against the fabric of reality itself. She was more than just a blessed, she was a living embodiment of the divine might that all others below her could only dream of possessing.Though her true age was hidden behind an ever ageless face, every line and curve of her features sculpted by powers far beyond mortal comprehension, her rank granted her the ability to manipulate her appearance to a certain degree, allowing for sustained youth. Her skin, sm

"Where is that dumbass going?" one of the county level blessed spat out, his voice filled with frustration as he watched Darkwood abandon them without a second thought. But that brief moment of distraction cost him dearly. Before he could even process the situation, a flash of crimson light split the air, and his body was cleaved cleanly in half by Liam’s sword. The two halves of his body slid apart with a sickening thud, blood splattering across the cracked floor.Liam landed heavily on the ground, the impact sending dust and debris flying around him. His crimson eyes locked onto Darkwood, who was dashing on he's black tree roots, he was heading towards a private room at the far end of the auctiom House. Darkwood’s figure was a blur, but Liam’s gaze was steady, cold, and calculating. The remnants of the blood that had splashed onto his face only added to the chilling sight."Hey, Hybris," Liam muttered under his breath, his voice barely above a whisper. "The only competition is ma
