3. Middle Of The Forest

His memories muddled, he wonders who the first person he killed and Altares realizes that the person he killed was a strange creature that had been living in the future for who knows how long.

Knock!

Knock!

"Enter!" Altares said to allow someone who knocked on his door to work.

Not long after a female employee came into the room with clothes that were so mini. "This is a file that you have to sign," said a woman named Julya, holding out a red folder.

"Okay," he replied flatly.

"Master, are you not tired?" asked Julya with a smile that was so sweet.

The stupid question his employee asked made Altares shake his head, but Altares knew secretly that Julya was flirting with him.

"Go away! Don't try to play games with me!" said Altares who was currently holding back his lust. The one who looks so can't stand playing with that woman, huh Altares misses his old self. A king who was always surrounded by women but now he is in the future neither woman sticks to him or maybe he is the one avoiding him. He had a reason why he had to restrain his lust because it was a requirement for him to have perfect strength when something dangerous happened in his life later.

"Are you sure?" The woman again approached the Altares and even bravely sat on Altares lap.

So how did Altares react when he was seduced by this woman? Of course, his body was sweating profusely, he could not hold back his lust. He hugged her tightly and when he hugged Altares eyes saw something that made him smile happily. Altares secretly took the dagger that he always carried everywhere and quickly the knife flew to stab the stomach of his employee who was in Altares' lap.

Fresh blood trickled down and even a splash of red hit Altares' face.

"Turns out he's one of the people I was looking for," Altares said with emotion.

To be honest, Altares still didn't understand why he would kill people with that fire mark, were they good or bad if people with those marks were monsters maybe they would do bad things in the future.

Still sitting on his lap made Altares's face look disgusted looking at the woman's face as her body and face began to peel off. He also pushed the body of a woman who was a monster from above his lap until the monster fell and crumbled into dust.

Altar's clothes were stained with blood, causing him to exhale violently. He turned around and within seconds the clothes that had been covered in blood were clean without the slightest stain.

As if nothing had happened, Altares stepped out to ask one of the cleaners in his office to clean up the mustard.

"Sir, please clean the dust in my room!" The Altares setting with the straight and cold face she always wore every day.

"Yes sir, I will clean it now" he replied and walked away.

Today the sky looks dark, Altares hates rain because rain makes his little empress go away. Yes, when he was sixteen he had a wife. However, an incident occurred that claimed his wife's life. Altar at that time could not do anything, because it was fate if his wife was killed.

He tried to close his eyes to imagine what his wife's face would look like and who would dare to kill her. Altares did this because he knew his memory wasn't very good. But he could not imagine anything about his wife.

"Arghhh... when will my memory come back?" he said angrily.

Altar stepped out to go somewhere, he had not visited that place in a long time.

***

Back on my feet after three months of not coming. He didn't even know how the old man was doing, if Altares returned to the Palace he promised to reward the old man who had helped him.

"Wait, where is that house?" asked Altares when he didn't see the old geezer's house he visited earlier. He didn't even get to ask her name.

Altares' face looked confused looking around him instead of the empty land that was just overgrown with grass. He thought he was going the wrong way because there was no light around the forest so Altares couldn't see his every step.

Altares decided to go around the cold night atmosphere he continued walking in the middle of the forest.

He had been circling this forest for a long time but Altares still had not found Grandpa's house. Instead, he returned to where he was before. "Magic is taking over this place, so where should I look for that geezer?" asked Altares gloomily. He was about to step away but he accidentally stepped on an old piece of paper.

His curiosity for the paper, especially since he was in the forest, it was impossible for anyone to leave, and if there was only the white-haired grandfather who might have left the old paper behind.

He took it and read it, his eyes widened and Altares smiled at once.

Altares King....

I know how your life will be after three months in this future, having a lot of wealth makes you feel good right? You have killed a lot of people, and you should know what your goal is to kill those people.

Even though I know what your aim is for returning, you miss living in the Palace, don't you? And you will also ask how to get back to me. If you want to go back, find a woman who has a birthmark shaped like your sword. After that, you will probably know what to do next.

"It turns out that annoying Grandpa left a letter for me, but why didn't he give all the ways? It's not wrong for me to name him annoying Grandpa." Altares who was smiling thinly but put on his annoyed face again.

Altares pulled away to turn back, but just as he was about to set his foot on it. Suddenly he opened his eyes hearing a woman's scream.

"Help me." And not long after, Altares again heard gunshots.

bang!

Altares immediately ran to find the source of the sound, maybe someone needed his help.

Until finally he arrived at the source of the sound but the sound he heard earlier disappeared, even though when he ran the sound was still heard.

"Huftt... so tiring," he said with a sigh. "Where is the woman?" asked Altares while looking around, but his face suddenly tightened as he felt goosebumps run down his spine. "Arghh it's in the middle of the forest, where was the woman's voice earlier or maybe it's a ghost?" he asked with a frightened face. Altares is also able to overcome his losses while running although he can use his powers in a pinch. "Hey ... anyone here?" He screamed and only echoes could be heard.

"Hiks... hiks... it hurts."

What sound is that? Woman crying in the middle of the forest on a pitch-black night?
