Entering The City

After putting away the gift, Arran checked the radio waves in the area to make sure the coast was clear. Finding nothing out of the ordinary, Arran quickly snuck away from his room.

The room Arran stayed in was registered under his name and the “keys” to the room had been given to him, so to speak. It was easy to leave the room, but sneaking out of the building without being noticed was another matter.

Initially, Arran tried to polymorph through the walls of the building to go outside, but as soon as his energized body touched the wall, a bright flashing light immediately shone which repelled Arran and bounced him away. The light was made from countless rune inscriptions lighting up at the same time as a restriction of sorts was triggered.

Not even going into subspace in his energized form could bypass the restrictions placed on the walls of the building. With no choice, he could only sneak out the old-fashioned way.
