And it's February 07 yaaayyyy!!!!!

Right now I'm in my room looking at the beautiful work of art resting just beside my bed. She was 6ft long with a body that looked like a coffin, this was my custom vr machine. The coffin style was especially emphasized during creation since I'm a hugggeee fan of vampires.

This bad bitch cost 125 thousand dollars. Verryy pricey, it was the premium vr machine for those with deep pockets but I got it for free after all I am a shareholder in that company muhahahahahahahaha.

Okay that was embarrassing.

The regular version that was massed produced was the helmet type. This one cost 5 thousand dollars on the market. There was a recorded sale of over 7 million helmets in the first 2 weeks after of release and more were being sold.

Anyways it's time to actually play rebirth online, with that said I hop into my coffin, literally hehehe and close the glass looking lid.

This was Dorothy speaking, the Ai in charge of the vr helmets and pods. She is also the tutorial guide for the early part of the game.

I listen to her and close my eyes, truly I feel myself becoming drousy over time until everything went dark.

I'm floating in space stark naked while a calm tune was playing in the background, it was really breathtaking. A few seconds later I start to see floating texts, already knowing what these were I just skipped the entire process. Waste of time if you asked me.

With a simple thought the words 'silvergod' appeared on the template, this was gonna be my character name. There was no character interface because you had to use your natural looks in rebirth online, wouldn't want a guy making a sexy female character and causing problems.

With my player name established I suddenly feel a pulling sensation like something was pulling my soul to the ground, mind you I was in space.

Regaining my senses I find myself on cruiseship with hundreds of other people. By their name tags it was easy to tell that they were all players just like me.

All of us are wearing different clothes and looking really sophisticated, I look around me and I can see players engaging each other in different conversations.

The moods are really high right now and everyone seems so excited and anxious.

While I'm busy admiring the scenery a waiter walks towards me with wine in a tray, this guy was an NPC on the cruise ship we were on.

'Would you love some wine sir?' he asks with a slight bow. I'm getting the young master vines right now.

I take a glass that was already filled and thank the waiter as be walks towards another player. I take a sip and I can't help but let out a sigh, this game was really realistic to the point where one could taste food.

Just as I'm enjoying my glass of wine I felt something poke my back, so I turned around and before me stood a player with the name tag Avatar001.

He was a handsome fellow with blonde hair and blue eyes giving away his European origins, he was talk too and was wearing a very nice blue suit that seemed to match his eyes.

"Very nice weather we have right now, a pity it's all about to be ruined by a shipwreck" he said with a hurt look on his face.

I was really speechless right now, isn't that the whole point of the game. Shipwreck, island, become op, make a harem and then rule the world.

I force a smile on my face surpressing my urge to push him into the sea, the island should be really interesting plus you would still get to see the beautiful weather when we crash I replied. Now that I say it out loud it sounds fucking weird, who would forward to a shipwreck.

“Well regardless I need a starting partner to the first part of the game and you seemed like a pretty clever person, so what do you say to an alliance?“.

That does seem like a very good idea, the early parts for the game can be very demanding especially for solo players .

I agree to this alliance I flash him a smile while stretching out my hand for a handshake.

Avatar001 shook my hand with an even more brilliant smile on his already handsome face,” to a successful alliance”, he declared as he raised his wine glass in a toast.

To a successful alliance I reply joining in the toast.

Crash!!!!!!!!

As if our toast was the signal, our cruise ship quaked violently causing many players to fall overboard. I held tightly onto the railings on the ship as not to fall off too.

“Help me!!!!“

Looking to my left I see avatar001 barely holding onto the railing, his body was outside the ship with his hands being the only thing keeping onboard.

Hang on!!

“ What do you think I'm doing???“

“…”

That was a dumb suggestion.

I hurry to the aid of my new comrade and grab his hands trying to lift him back into the ship, after a bit of a struggle I somehow managed to help him aboard.

“ Bloody hell!!! That scared the hell out of me” he lamented with his hands on his knees and panting.

Avatar001 fell directly into the sea this time.

I'm starting to rethink this alliance matter, how can anyone be so unlucky?.

I didn't even have enough time to think as I started sliding downwards, looking down I notice the front part of the ship already submerged. For a second I forgot this was supposed to happen, there was no need to struggle so much.

I chuckled in amusement as I let go of the railing letting myself slide into the sea with style. The game was about to begin.
