First Day At Work

Alora arrived home late at night. She opened the front door quietly, trying not to wake Luciel up.

The lights were off and it was as quiet as graveyard.

"The roommate fell asleep". She giggled and locked the door.

Entering into the living room, she jumped in horror as she suddenly saw the TV turned on and a man sitting on the couch.

"You're back". His manly voice echoed in the small room.

"Luciel! You scared me". Alora said.

"Uhuh, I did.. don't worry, I don't eat humans". He replied curtly, eyes fixated on the soccer game on TV.

"Are you okay? Is something off?". Alora asked noticing his cold behavior.

"No, why would you ask that?". Luciel shook his head. "I am having a good time.. I love watching soccer". He chewed his inner cheek.

Alora turned on the lights and placed her phone on the table. "You're rude.. not the Luciel I was talking to before leaving".

"I'm not rude.. I'm always the same". Luciel shrugged.

"Anyways, goodnight". Alora said and walked towards her room.
