Yemin leaned against the cold wall of the holding cell, his expression a mask of chilling indifference.

The laughter of the thugs echoed around him like the yapping of rabid dogs.

Enough was enough.

He hadn't spoken to the cops because he thought this was just a small-time humiliation stunt. But now? Whoever orchestrated this had crossed a line they could never uncross.

Worse, Faye was still outside, vulnerable, heading into the snake pit they’d set up.

His patience snapped.

Snake Neck, the self-appointed leader, lunged at him first.

"Hold him down, boys! Let’s see how loud this bitch screams when—"

He didn’t finish the sentence.

Yemin moved like a phantom, grabbing Snake Neck by the wrist and twisting. A sickening crack filled the room, followed by a bloodcurdling scream.

"AAARRGH! MY ARM!"

The other thugs blinked, stunned for half a second.

Then they rushed at him all at once, roaring in fury.

"Stupid bastard! You’re dead!"

Yemin ducked under the first wild swing, his knee slamming into the man’s gut with enough force to lift him off the ground. The thug collapsed like a ragdoll, gasping for air.

Another grabbed for Yemin's neck from behind, but Yemin simply turned, catching the man's wrist midair and flipping him over his shoulder effortlessly. The thug crashed into the iron bunk with a sharp clang, groaning pitifully.

"What the hell is this guy?!" one of them shrieked, backing away.

"Not human! He’s not f*cking human!"

Yemin’s face didn’t change.

Not a single drop of sweat marked his skin.

Pathetic.

They thought they were hunters. They're nothing but lambs lined up for slaughter.

One last thug, foolishly brave, charged at him with a broken chair leg, swinging it wildly.

Yemin side-stepped the attack with ease, grabbed the man's shirt, and delivered a brutal headbutt straight to the thug’s nose.

Blood sprayed everywhere as the man crumpled to the ground, whimpering.

Within minutes, the entire cell floor was littered with broken, groaning bodies.

The ruckus finally drew attention.

The duty officer outside rushed over, peering through the small window.

When he saw the scene inside, his face drained of all color.

"What the... what the hell happened here?!"

Another officer peeked in and let out a loud curse.

"Holy shit, he’s a goddamn monster!"

Yemin stepped forward, his icy gaze pinning them in place.

"You," he said, pointing directly at the trembling guard. "Open the damn door."

The guard flinched.

"I-I... I can’t—"

Yemin’s hand slammed against the bars, the metallic clang rattling the walls.

"I wasn’t asking," Yemin said, his voice low and sharp.

The guard fumbled with the keys, dropping them twice before finally managing to unlock the door with shaking hands.

Yemin pushed the door open and strode out like a king among peasants.

"Stop him!" a sergeant barked from behind the desk, panic rising in his voice.

Two officers rushed at him.

One swung a baton.

Another drew his taser.

Yemin caught the baton mid-swing, yanked it from the officer’s hand, and snapped it cleanly in two like it was a twig.

He kicked the second officer square in the chest, sending him flying into a stack of chairs.

"He’s a goddamn demon!" someone shrieked.

The remaining officers scrambled out of his way as Yemin marched down the corridor toward the chief’s office.

No more games. No more mercy.

He could hear panicked whispers behind him.

"Call backup!"

"Shit, call the National Guard while you’re at it!"

Two more cops tried to form a blockade at the chief’s door.

Yemin didn’t even slow down.

He grabbed one by the collar and hurled him into the other. Both crashed to the ground in a tangled heap, groaning.

Without bothering to knock, Yemin kicked the door open with a loud BANG.

Inside, the police chief—an aging, balding man—jumped to his feet, his coffee cup shattering against the floor.

"W-what the hell is going on here?!" the chief blustered, trying to act tough.

Yemin stalked toward him like a storm made flesh.

The chief knew exactly who Yemin Morgan was the moment he stormed into the office.

The sight of him—the cold, commanding aura rolling off him like thunder—made the chief's knees buckle slightly behind the desk.

This was no ordinary man.

This was the real boss. The man even the city’s richest families didn’t dare offend.

But before the chief could speak, the captain — the same smug officer who earlier mocked and shoved Yemin around — charged into the room, still trying to act tough.

"Sir, this bastard assaulted officers! We need to cuff him again—"

Before he could finish, Yemin turned around sharply and grabbed the captain by the collar, yanking him forward like he weighed nothing.

"You think you’re tough now?" Yemin hissed, his voice low and dangerous. "Didn't you enjoy bullying me earlier?"

The captain's face went beet red.

"I-I didn’t know who you were—"

A vicious slap cracked across the room.

Yemin backhanded the captain so hard he crashed into the chief’s desk, knocking over a pile of paperwork.

"You don’t get to hide behind excuses now," Yemin said, his voice laced with venom. "You wanted to play god with my life. Congratulations—you just forfeited yours."

Yemin Ravollor stood motionless in his living room, the evening sun casting long shadows across the imported marble floors of their penthouse. Spread across the mahogany coffee table, evidence of his wife's betrayal lay in stark detail – surveillance photos, hotel receipts, and a record of calls that painted an undeniable picture of infidelity.Katherine strode in, still wearing her tailored Chanel suit from the office, her Louboutin heels clicking against the floor with practiced authority. "You think making a phone call will change anything? Who are you trying to impress? You think we don’t know you're just putting on a show?"She shook her head in mock pity, her voice dripping with disdain. "Pathetic. After what happened with Tommy, we can't risk offending him again."Yemin's lips tightened slightly. He knew more than he was letting on, but explaining would accomplish nothing at this point. Some lessons had to be learned through experience."That's a nice car for someone who was supposedly broke just weeks ago," Faye remarked, changing the subject.
