“What the heck!”

Once the hero’s eyes fell on the source of the scream, his face twisted in a frown, and he let out a harsh gasp.

Behold, standing just a few inches away from him was a young soldier standing upright with his back facing the hero. The pants of this soldier were down and from the movement of his body, especially his left hand, one could easily tell what sort of disgusting activities he was involved in.

The soldier’s head arched backward, revealing eyes rolled up in pleasure as he lost control to sensation below. His nose mask shifted repeatedly as muffled moans softly escaped.

William stood and observed the weird activities for a few seconds. Even though he made several small movement sounds, the soldier heard none of those brief, faint shifts, completely immersed in beating his meat.

'The fuck am I looking at? He is stroking it in the middle of a fucking bridge!'

William could not believe his eyes. Even in his wildest dream, such a revolting and surprising scene would never appear.

'Does that mean the loud scream we heard from this direction was just this weird soldier moaning loudly from pleasure? Fuck!'

Just imagining the situation made it even weirder.

"Hey...."

William called out to the soldier.

"Aww~"

Instead of responding, the young soldier let out an even louder moan of pleasure.

"WTF"

The hero reacted, sincerely disgusted. But just like the first call, the soldier reacted with an even louder moan. William felt an unhealthy amount of anger drift into his system as a result. He wanted nothing at the moment, but to bring down the soldier and beat the crap out of him.

Nevertheless, on the other hand, the situation became clearer to the hero — The hallucinogenic content of the everlasting crimson fog had taken control of the soldier!

"Hey you! Stop sticking your stick in there!"

William was still trying to grasp his situation when he heard the disgusted reprimanding from Theobald.

'It seems the other scream is going through the same situation as this one. Very weird, does the crimson fog only send erotic hallucinations to the mind of his subjects?'

William could hear the other soldiers whispering amongst themselves after the shout from the captain. They were just as confused.

Having no other way to stop the young soldier from his disgusting activity, William walked closer and tapped him on his shoulder.

Unfortunately, the taps weren't enough to draw him out from his erotic hallucination. Instead, the taps seem to increase his horniness causing him to let out soft moans of excitement.

William gritted his teeth, holding the urge back firmly to beat the lust out of him.

He pushed the soldier causing his actions to be disrupted as he almost lost his footing.

'Finally...'

The hero was excited that he had been able to stop the soldier. But the relief was short-lived.

Right after gaining his composure, the soldier returned to his erotic delusion. He doesn't even seem half bothered by the sudden push.

William was agitated.

Before the hero could act upon his anger and deal with the frustrating crew member, he felt a soft touch on his shoulder.

"He is not going to react to anything you do. The effect of the everlasting crimson fog is powerful especially amongst ordinary humans."

It was Osborne.

William turned to look at the old wizard with a calm but confused expression and asked him what should be done about the soldier.

"I am afraid there is nothing I can do for him. Dispelling the hallucinogenic effect of the everlasting fog is difficult even with magic or even potions."

The wizard shared with the hero how his coven had tried to break the hallucinogenic effect on humans in the past using all the spells and potions in their arsenal, but none were fruitful.

William looked at the soldier who was still actively engaged, moaning loudly and stroking it even faster.

The anger William felt vanished and was replaced by a deep sense of pity — Sad that a soldier would have to pass out of the world in such a distasteful manner. No one would wish such a fate upon anyone, not even their greatest adversary.

The hero and the wizard could only watch the young soldier with pity.

A few seconds after, the captain joined them and shared the solemn news about his encounter with the other screamer.

Apparently, his subject was also engaged in lustful activities due to erotic hallucination — According to Theobald, the soldier was trying to make out with the wooden bridge while calling out the name of a famous prostitute in Muzez Kingdom.

It was shameful. Even narrating it, the captain felt embarrassed on behalf of his comrade.

"I had to kill him myself instead of watching him die that way."

Even though it was cruel, the hero and the wizard easily understood.

"And we should do the same for this one."

Theobald dragged out his sword and strolled towards the young soldier. A solemn expression adorned his face.

He halted behind the young soldier for a few seconds, simply staring at him, recalling moments they have shared together whilst training and in battles.

"Ahhh."

Theobald lifted his sword, with a loud cry laced with regret, sadness and anger, he decapitated his comrade.

He stood and stared at the corpse for a few seconds, a line of tears streamed down his face.

The captain suddenly clenched his fist as vengeance glinted in his eyes.

"I swear on my honor as the captain of the Muzez army to bring justice to my comrades who fell in the cause to bring down those evil wizards. No matter what it takes, the Gravemind Order must fall!"

Early morning had already arrived over the dark island. The sun shone brightly over the evil island, radiating a strong golden glow and heat. The sun easily permeated the small confinement of the room which only comprised of a few wooden chairs, a bed and a tall wooden cupboard where the previous owner of the room kept their wands and attires.Inside a spacious, dimly-lit room at the dark island, the core members of the two groups could be seen standing around a small desk.Melissa and Peterson brought out a more detailed ancient map of the place and described it to William and Theobald who represented their group. Only two members were allowed to attend the meeting thus both of them were sent."The first three floors are very easy to clear, they comprise mostly of mid-level apprentice wizards with barely enough mana in their mana reserve to cast powerful spells. While they are a little bit stronger than the wizards guarding the fences, they are not that much trouble for a well-traine

The crew ended up spending more than half an hour discussing about the plans to infiltrate the dark tower, how to act within it, how to avoid suspicions, path to follow, and where to find certain important people inside the tower. Most of the explanation was done by Peterson, the trustworthy assassin of Melissa's squad. His information and description were clear and vivid—better than reading it from a map.Melissa and a few members of her squad also added to the information available. As they had been around the tower for several days, their understanding of the place was an important lesson to William and the others.During their discussions, they had to halt several times—either when the surveillance light flashed in their direction or when actual members of the cult walked by.They were able to finish their discussion without drawing that much attention to themselves. After they were done discussing, they began preparing to act on the plans they had just finalized."Here."Melissa

A few of them had huge muscular builds similar to Theobald's.Their strides were filled with arrogance, something the other cultist William had slayed lacked.William was the first to notice the oddity of the group marching in their direction, and he couldn't help but frown. Why were they so different from the others? he asked himself.William kept his eyes on the small group as they closed in on each other. His eyes was fixed on that of the biggest one in the ground who, coincidentally, also had his eyes locked with his. The silence between them stronger than ever, almost as

A few men adorning dark robes and masks could be seen patrolling the mighty fence that enclosed the evil gathering of Gravemind cult. They walked in separate groups, each of them moving in different directions, ensuring that all the perimeter of the fence was covered at all times.A small group of three cultists could be seen strolling together while discussing amongst themselves, unaware of the arrival of an unstoppable opponent."I heard the great leader would be arriving tonight," one of them brought up a new conversation."Frederico told me about that a few hours ago, I thought he was lying. So you guys heard the same thing?" The one in the middle replied."Frederico wasn't lying, I overheard two of our superiors discussing about his arrival.""I suspect something important would go down in a few days. The great leader never visits the tower unless for a very important event, could it be that the preparing of the grand ritual has been completed and he is here to finalize it?"The

William and the crew could be seen strolling towards the vast water body with silent and cautious step. At the moment, each of them had a long black fabric covering their head. The black fabric served as a camouflage each time the beam of the light rotated in their direction. As the land was plain and filled with dark sand and skeletal remains, covering themselves in black clothings made them more difficult to detect from afar.Thankfully, this barren land had no sort of abnormalities, not even corrupted creatures that usually raided the night. If there were unlucky enough to have faced anyone, their location would be revealed to the cult once and their entire plan would be ruined."Walk faster! We need to be at the island before morning arrives!"Theobald announced to the others while strolling beside the hero. After the peculiar sensation of passing through the portal faded, William found himself standing in a strange, unfamiliar location."Wow!"The scene before him prompted the hero to exclaim in genuine astonishment.Spread before his eyes was a vast, barren land plunged into darkness and gloom. Only the faint crescent light of the full moon hanging in the sky battled the intense blackness. Not far from his current position, William’s gaze fell on a truly vast, large water body that stretched over a long distance, seemingly unending from his perspective. The hero needed no geography expert to tell him this was Dark Island, the sacred landmark and hideout of the most terrifying dark wizard cult in this dark world. The sound of water calmly flowing could be heard clearly, and the waters were almost visible as they softly reflected the moon."What is that?"A surprised voice muttered behind the hero as its owner’s eyes suddenly and instantly fell upon a mysterious, silhouetted structure ris
