Level Up

"Where am I?" I was spacing out, all I saw was nothing. It was pure white, silent, and warm. Where I was is like an isolated place outside the universe with literally no time and space. 

"What" I was baffled I couldn't act or think clearly, I saw myself in a city, whenever I tried thinking back, I developed a serious headache it hurts a lot but I do remember I was in my room playing a video game, "Come to think of it, this is a fantasy world. based on how I dress it's just like in a fantasy game.

I felt butterflies in my stomach when the idea crossed my mind that I might have teleported into a game just like those isekai anime I watched. There are close to or more than 300 people here. I wonder if we can communicate. I walked straight to an average guy. 

"Hello, my…...name…...is…….fejize." fejize? I asked mysey, pulling my head down thinking. I wonder why I said fejize_ "why would they choose a weakling like you," uh, I raised up my head and looked at him, he's eyes were terrific I got scared I couldn't look back at him he walked away. 

He called me a weakling. At least I am glad we speak one language. 

"Hello, welcome." We heard a female voice but we couldn't tell the exact location, everyone was murmuring. "As you can see you all are in a virtual reality massively online role-playing game, my name is COM 001, your guidance throughout this game," said COM 001 explaining her role. 

"The title of this game is called level up." 

Level up? I remembered, I have played this game several times, so l am an in-game character. This is awesome," I said.

"Before we move to today's business first of all to check out your profile you just have to say the world profile, a virtual screen will appear before you," COM 002 explained. "Right there you will see your game name, your ability and HP (hit points), MP (Mena points), and XP (experience points) and also your power level points". 

Everyone started checking, there were lot of screen popping out, I checked my and what I saw;

Is this a joke? thinking deeply. "How come my power level is just level three. I have played this game several times and I can clearly remember that the main character started the game at level 25. Come to think of it, Mimic? That's not part of the main character's ability." 

Then, I am not the main character of this story, I became disappointed.

"You can see the ability you already earned choosing by the game, some have unique ability some are special ability while some are not special, again the power level are different, some are already at 30, 25, 24, 7, 16 and so on, this is happening because, to make this world balance". 

How is the world balance when we are not in the same power level and ability.

"Moving to the first scenario, up ahead you will see a huge forest in the woods where there are 300 magic rings hidden. There are exactly 450 players and in order to clear the first scenario you need to take one magic ring to the other side of the forest, isn't that easy," said COM 002 explaining.

Easy, 450 people, 300 rings. We all know where this is going. 150 people will die. "um! More like half of the people will die'' someone said. "Do you think everyone will mind his or her business looking for a magic ring, why would I when I can just kill you and take it," said the stranger he spoke with confidence. He is around my age. 

What he said is true. I think deeply, there are campars in a game.  When I looked at his profile, what I saw amused me. His class type is samurai. At that moment I realized, I know I have found the main character of this story, it's a small world. 

"There will be timeframe for this scenario if you look at you profile right below a countdown has been initiated before the start of the event, who ever fails to clear this scenario will be eliminated, I know everyone is thinking since it's a game there should be a second chance," 

"Which means starting all over whenever you fail a scenario. we decided to make it interesting so please treat the game as a real life situation for your mind and entire body. In this game you fail a scenario, you die, you die, you die for real." 

"I am sure everyone understands and you don't have any questions, so good luck." Said Com 001

This isn't good, I didn't know how or why I got here, I am among the weaklings around here going into this scenario my survival rate is 15 percent.

I raised my head up to understand what others were doing. They were speaking randomly at each other. I later realized they were creating a team. I quickly turned to my side. I didn't see him, the main character of the story. 

Where he is, I kept looking around. It would be wise to form a guild with him looking around. I saw him standing alone, I walked straight up to him. 

"What do you want?" He asked. "Let us create a guild, in a game creating a guild is the most powerful magic you can think off_" "I am a solo player" he interrupted "I am a solo player, I work alone." "I understand what it means. I am saying it's better to work together, two heads are better than one_ ''not when two heads are useless," again to shut me out. "If I wanted to form a guild it won't be with a weakling, you are beyond weak," He said, confidently.

I was looking at him, his eyes were looking down on me, that was annoying. I hate people who look down at others. "Fine," I said, "I will show you that weaklings still have a place in this world." I walk away. 

The clock was ticking down. I am still alone. It was quite disappointing, other people had already formed a guild. I heard a huge noise. I walked in the direction of some guys, they were bullying a little girl who looked like a kid. 

"You are a good looking girl, you would make a perfect sex mate for us, that is the only space available, if you want to join us you have to do exactly what we say." The man was drawing her hair down as he rant on her, I can feel the pain she was passing through I decided to intervene but before I made a step all of a sudden, 

A lady was standing right before him, blonde hair, she was giving him some scary looks, where is the girl being bullied, I was so surprised to see her far away from them how? When? Because of how she handled the situation she became popular suddenly everyone wants to team with her, 

I was looking at, she made an interesting smile, I took a closer look at her profile;

XP: 5 ]

Sussy ignored everyone, she walked straight to the little girl, she formed a guild with her, something told me to team with her but I was afraid she might push me away just as she had done with others. Sussy encouraged the little girl, her words inspired me. I laughed. 

I was thinking straight, this is a game I know very well with my experience playing level up. It should be a piece of cake clearing every scenario. Before the start of the first scenario I will need some coins. I checked my wallet and it was empty. I saw this one coming, I quickly rushed to an open field outside the city. I know in the game there are little monsters around you can kill to get coins. 

The first monster I saw was small and round it was elevating, a lv 1 monster, killing it wasn't easy I struggled to take it down my drop to 70 percent I was breathing heavily I heard a loud noise, they were all laughing at me calling me all kind names I couldn't take down a lv 1 monster with ease but I did get 5 coins, I got angry without thinking and climb up a building so everyone could see me. 

"Sigh,  right now I am taking it day by day even if I can't get to used at something or win at something even if I don't have any excess, by living day by day I will succeed I will fail but I will still laugh at the blessing before my eyes, y'all keep watching I will be the first to cross over that forest," I said shouting. 

"Applauds!" He was putting on armor "you will make it to the other side you said, fine, let us make a deal if you come out before me I will acknowledge you but if I made it out first you will be my slave for your entire life, deal?" 

"Deal," I shouted, without thinking about the situation. 

"I like guys like you, my name is Marco," "I am Fejize" I replied him 

"See you on the other side" said Marco, as he walked away. 

I want to gather more coins before the first scenario starts. 

And time's up the scenario started.
