Chapter 13: A Burden? Maybe.

Natalie kept her arms crossed over her chest. Her waves of red locks were flickering under the intense gaze of the moon. Although her face wasn't as good as Ana's exquisite face, it was still pretty but her sharp stares made her look like a monster from a terrifying movie.

Her gaze kept settling on Ana now and then. She and Nova were sitting close to each other, and by the side of that boy, Ana brought back. What a farce.

She sneered and then turned to Elias. "We don't have anything for dinner, do we?"

Elias nodded. It was true that they ventured down for supplies but because of the monsters, not only did they not get any supplies, but they also lost their bags which contained some dried food. Now, there was nothing for them to eat.

"What do we do now?" Nova said, folding up her legs such that her knees were pointing upwards. She looked at Ana, ignoring Natalie's piercing gaze.
